A very very solid 200 gram cake that delivers a well composed and executed mix of effects and color palette. I would acquire and use if available locally here in OH. Nice demo Jon. I haven't shot any misaligned cakes yet. That's probably because I shoot scripted shows and physical set up is always something that I pay close attention to. Most of my fails come from timing and sequence errors in my script coding. Haven't had a "clean show" yet. Between script errors and the odd ignition fail, there is always something out there in the weeds.
Thanks Dennis, glad you liked the cake. If you're interested in checking out some Elite products eventually, I believe they're going to begin shipping in the first quarter of next year. That said, they are more expensive than regular wholesale prices, though they do sell at "case rates" that are less than buying individual retail units.
@@VermontPyroBoys802 Shipping is not an option in OH as we, like VT, don't allow fireworks to be shipped to a buyer in the state unless they hold a store or an exhibitor license. That said, I might reach out to Elite and see if they have any OH retail stores that are customers - and then I can shop and haggle with them. I know the two big wholesalers in the State (American Wholesale and Wholesale Fireworks) do not stock Elite product.
It's definitely a fun one. If you're ever as far north as NH, I'd totally recommend a stop at Elite. It's a great store and Valmir is a really cool guy!
That’s a nice 200 gram cake from elite and don’t feel bad about not facing the cake the wrong way. Many pyros do it all the time, for me I have not done that yet, I stress yet because I am sure it will happen sooner or later. I have only shot 2 cakes from elite H-town and jinja super rack noab. I do have a case of gone past Jupiter in the stash and I will send it up this year when I am back on the pond. Great demo pyro
Very cool, I've shot H-Town and really liked it. I've got the Nishiki Super Rack (maybe you noticed it behind me during the commentary segments) and I have a plan for a special video including it but am not sure when I'll record it. Glad you liked the demo despite the sideways cake. While it still looked good, it wasn't the best. I'm hoping I'll get a chance to try that one again sometime.
Yep! Years ago I shot what I thought was a straight up cake because it was square and you could tell it should have been turned 90 degrees. Since then I make sure I label the front of each cake with a neon post-it note. There are still some cakes out there that have the “face cake this way” notice on top and I cut the tops off. Plus the neon post-it is easier to see at night.
@@mikeharcharik2975 I totally love the post it note idea! I've been marking my cakes with a sharpie and it's really hard to see in the dark. Thanks for sharing that, I'm gonna start doing the same.👍
@mikeharcharik2975 That's great. Thanks again, you're definitely helping me out. Also, I'll be able to save the labels more easily if there isn't a side marked up too.😃👍
this is a great cake right here and I love the comets going up in the middle and just a great overall cake great demo to great video and have u H town madness? That’s another good one.. ua-cam.com/users/shortsv3_rsVCRsWI?si=XzC8Msf_-q3Tvmam
Yeah man! H-Town was the first Elite cake I ever shot. I really loved that one, honestly more than Lawbreaker. If I ever get back down there, I'll probably be bringing home a sleeve on H-Town. 😃👍
@ well I remember my video if you haven’t seen it I just unboxed the jester jinx it at six of their new newest cakes, compact cake cakes and I can’t wait to deal with them off as soon as possible. I’m gonna deal with them off Dr. Jinx jester set.

Fun little cake 🎆👍
Glad you enjoyed it. If the journey isn't too far, I'd totally recommend giving Elite a try. It's a great store and their prices are really good. 👍
Been there done that, I sent one up sideways, it still looked good. Nice colors and breaks and you can make out the fanned out shot.
