SUPER EASY PATTERN - Crochet neck warmer

- In this video tutorial (turn on HD quality) I am going to show you how to crochet neckwarmer.
It´s super easy pattern :)
You’ll need 3 balls of the yarn plus little amount from fourth ball if you want to get exactly the same size of neck warmer as me.
The yarn is called Peru from Nako brand. It’s mix of Alpaca wool, wool and premium acrylic. It’s 130 mt in 100 gr.
I used 7 mm crochet hook.

Would you be able to tell the differences in using an all cotton yarn, and a 5mm hook?
Oh sorry but I am not able to tell you the differences if I did not try it :(
I think the texture of the yarn could be different, sometimes cotton is a bit more stiff so it might not be as soft and squishy. And if you use a 5mm hook the stitch will be smaller, so in turn the scarf might end up being smaller than in the tutorial
What is the length and width for adult
I would like to make this in bulky yarn for 3 children - ages 5, 7 & 9. Is there a written pattern to follow?

Is the wool in the pattern dk or worsted
I don’t know what does dk mean 🤷🏼♀️😀
It looks like chunky yarn from the video or a thick arran. Its a 7mm hook so I'm guessing chunky yarn would make sense. I'll try and find the wool brand online and see if it says the yarn weight.
It says nako peru is a super chunky yarn online
I dont understand starting 4:38
You have to make just one hdc in each chain.
