He really was. He had a really good 3 years in Buffalo and then he had a good year with the Titans a few years later. This first 3 years though he had 27 TD’s on 3,523 Yards on the ground.
Gumbel is good was the number one play by play til Nantz decided to do play by play. Gumbel I believe now is third on depth chart of play by play behind Nantz and Eagle.
All 4 of the main broadcasters have been at CBS for a long time (Greg Gumbel, Ian Eagle, Jim Nantz, and Kevin Harlan). Grew up listening to these guys and a big reason I love to watch CBS games rather than FOX games.
They goofed with the thumbnail. Travis Henry was the one who rushed for 151 but they’re showing McGahee who wasn’t drafted till ‘03 and didn’t even play that season. Still, great to see Prime Ricky in his only Pro Bowl and All-Pro season. Henry was a damn good RB too.
Can we talk about the pads they wear in this era vs today? I love the chunky look. I know the neckroll was proven to be more harm then good and that's why it went away, but that iconic look will always stand out and is hard to not miss.
I was at this game, truly life changing. That tip and then catch by Moulds was so electric. The snow was blinding. This team had so much potential, we had so much hope.

I mean, the Dolphins dropped at least two interceptions, and probably a third (Madison had the ball go off his fingers, but that's because he mistimed his jump). He was also a human statue in the pocket and got sacked all the time
NFL on CBS needs to go back to that theme song. I'm sick of the Gangster theme for the last 19 years. Go back to this classic 1992-1993 and 98-02 theme please.
Thank you for a real throwback! These are the games I miss and wanna see when it was smash mouth football and running backs were more valuable but I do like that there's rpos in the NFL now which is more exciting
It's not the NFL if the Bills vs. the Dolphins in December isn't played in snow. The 1990 Divisional Playoffs, this game, and most recent, last Saturday's game in which the Bills won all three by a total of 20 points. (44-34, 38-21, 32-29) Let's Go Buffalo... #BillsMafia
Travis Henry always looked like the perfect runningback to me. In terms of build. Even his gear was perfect in terms of what runningbacks wear. Good RB
I was at this game and my friend said it would either be a close Bills win or a Dolphins blowout. Rickey Williams ripped off the 3rd play for a TD and he turned to us and said, "Ready to go?" We stayed to the end. Glad I did. I remember Jim Kelly was on the sidelines during the 4th quarter trying to pump up the crowd.
Larry Centers was a beast.. dolphins always dropped ints or was just an inch away from making a game changing play, Then the other team would cash in on big games.. it just seems like we're cursed at times.. there's no other explanation.. this happened way too often
I was at this game and it was so frustrating to watch. A couple years back, Belechick called for 3 total running plays in a nasty weather game in Buffalo, they controlled the game on the ground and won. Miami should have never thrown a pass in this game, especially with Lucas at QB. Miami had such a dominant OL in '02 with Ricky. In this game, if Buffalo played a traditional 4-3 Miami would get a consistent 4-5 yards on every run. If Buffalo stacked the line, Ricky and Minor would break consistent long runs if they got thru that line. Miami should've won this game easily, but they got cute. Getting cute was how they lost a late lead in New England in the season finale, too. Such a frustrating waste of talent that season. A truly dominant run game with a caretaker QB and good WR/TE talent. A shame...
@@billybuffalo they weren't bad at all. Better than the dumb crap they have today. Especially the all red. Now those uniforms are hideous as hell. Yuck.
This game was so freaking wholesome and exemplified this Bill's team came back from double digits in the snow and Price going hug Kelly after that long tuddy gave me chills. Favorite game of all time
Thanks now I remembered why I disliked Fielder back then lol. So much for Marino's hand-picked replacement lmao. I feel like Fielder getting on our team was an omen for bad qbs for the fins.
This was a great game to be at as a bills fan. The bills defense had way too much talent to be as bad as they were. Awful coaching and terrible oline really wasted what could've been a good year.
Shame that the year The Dolphins seemingly put it all together to win the SB, their QB got hurt (Fiedler) and the AFC East was the best division in the NFL. The Bills at 8-8 were the last place team.
4:57 The reflection in Ricky Williams visor is epic ! 🤯
Travis Henry was an extremely underrated RB.
💯
If he didn’t play for the Buffalo bums he wouldn’t of been
He really was. He had a really good 3 years in Buffalo and then he had a good year with the Titans a few years later. This first 3 years though he had 27 TD’s on 3,523 Yards on the ground.
The Bills always had those great running backs.
Not to the hoes, he knocked up like 8 of them
The fact that gumbel all these years later is still the voice of cbs
Mhmm. Mhmm. Mhmm. Mhmm. Mmmhmm. Mhmm. Mhmm. Mhmm.
Well now it’s Nantz and Romo that do the big games
Gumbel is good was the number one play by play til Nantz decided to do play by play. Gumbel I believe now is third on depth chart of play by play behind Nantz and Eagle.
But yes it's impressive how long he has been at CBS

Ricky Williams was dashing through the Bills that day
And the Dolphins Still los lol

Can't believe 20 years later Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills this weekend might be playing in a snow bowl game in Buffalo
I was there in all my Dolphins gear. Got in my first fight at the Ralph, aaah memories.

That moment when Price hugged Kelly in the end zone was.... Priceless
I LOVE the rosters on both these teams in this era. That Bills team was a fun offense to watch and Miami was really just solid all around

That Moulds TD...
I was at this game in the end zone Ricky ran right towards me!!! I couldn’t find where I parked after the game it was 🌨️ so bad!!! Lol

You have McGahee on the title photo, but the Bills RB that had those stats was Travis Henry. Just saying.

You should do a Ricky Williams highlight reel I just love watching physical power running backs
Only the Dolphins could waste a career day by Ricky Williams.
Playing NFL St 1 makes me appreciate the power of Ricky Williams
Loved that game

Sadly the winter wonderland didn't kick in until the game was decided but a great afc east rivalry nonetheless

What a difference between watching Drew Bledsoe the statue in the pocket vs. what we have today in Josh Allen...
Bledsoe made some great throws in this game.
Thurman Thomas,Travis Henry,Willis MaGahee,Marshawn Lynch, the Bills done had some quality RBs
And you may have left off the best one they ever had...

Ray Lucas. Man that name brings me back.
Truly a lost classic, and man, there were good players on both sides of the ball for the Bills and they couldn’t put it together.
I remember watching this one. Is this the one where Ricky Williams got in "trouble" for doing an action like he was smoking a blunt? ✌️ 👄 🚬 🌬️ 🌿
Jesus our defense was terrible
The Dolphins lost, but Ricky Williams _BLAZED_ through Buffalo’s defense.

11:20 this INT is so bad it's actually funny.
Also the reason Ray Lucas never started again and Fiedler took over!
@@KingEdwardMMVIII It was Fielder who threw the ball though.

As a diehard bills fan, I agree. They were god awful

Ricky Williams had to be convinced to take the field. He didn't want to play because of the weather.

There's no dolphins in lake Erie. Wonder why?
Gregg Williams was the worst coach in bills history in my opinion
Too bad we don't have a Ricky Williams for this upcoming snow game vs Buffalo and even if we did McDaniel doesn't believe in running the ball😂😂😂😂

Travis Henry before his career as a drug trafficker
Man the Dolphins got cheated out of the win everybody saw the play clock at 00 for 2 seconds and they didn't call delay of game
