Why does Tyler act so coy about splitting the ball in two with an ax? Yes, it can be done, but the ball was pre-split and adhered back together so that it would be easier to split in the shot... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. He just sounds like he's ego and honor are contingent upon us believing he can split a baseball in two with an ax. I believe he can... however, I think they made easier to shoot the footage.
