  • The Crook o' Lune lies within the Forest of Bowland and the Lune Millennium Park. This is a circular walk with two detours to Bull Beck picnic site near Brookhouse & Caton and a walk up to Gray's seat 'view point'. A final brew back at Woodies cafe.

I do love that area. Stopped there a few times while travelling home via Hornby and Settle and always stopped to admire the views. Just before Covid we walked up to Caton from Lancaster and then returned (from Crook o Lune) on the other side via Halton. I have my eye on other walks in the area that we might do some time. Very enjoyable film, showing us some of the parts we didn't get to..

Hi Michael, just noticed your comment, I must have missed it some how. It is a great area for walking isn't it, we are going back that way soon and I have been searching the maps for walks. Thanks for your support.

Hi Tith, thanks for watching, looks like there are more good walks along the Lune, I see you are doing dance videos now.

Hi Steve. Only just noticed your last video on Crook o' Lune. You had a good day for your walk with some lovely shots. Good to see Jeannie out, hope she is better from back problems. Recognise parts of the Lune Millennium Park and Bowland area from holidays closely. Nice chill music I like the theme.

A nice easy walk with no hills, hurray. Jeanie is ok if it's not too steep. My writing head has come back after a break so enjoying that. Purchased the GoPro 11, I think you have one, it's a bit quirky but getting the hang of it now.
