Motivated from this video, I did this course - my review... there is zero chance any company would hire anybody who did this course - its like watching an introductory video to dentistry, there isnt anyone on earth that would let you into their mouth just because you watched a video and got a badge
true, it's just an introductory video on AI, ML, and deep learning. The later module is all about responsible AI and principles used by Google company which is okay to watch and understand but I don't think it will come to use. It is all about principle and being responsible in musing AI, and it is different in different companies. THe first 3 module is useful and helps u to understand what is ai, ML and deep learning, and LLM and even they got a quiz which is good. So it's not a waste of time. If you're wondering what is Ai stuff it's for you to understand and you can complete it in one day or one and a half days. and later on, if you to dive deep then there may be a course on it ( which is I am sure paid ).
@@aashishdixit957 yes I agree it gives you insight to go on a deeper dive that we will have to pay for but this video sold us on the idea that we can possibly get hired from doing this course - its impossible, its an empty suggestion - this course is useless for what we were sold on
You have to understand, whatever the jobs you are showing to us, none of them hired us on the basis of only one day completion of google badge generative ai. LLM, ML is not something you could not learn in one day, despite how intelligent you are . ML required expertise in maths, then. Who has several years of practical experience in maths. So don't misguide us.
You as well as many of the posters on this thread should chill and give the content creator a break. The industry is so new that there are no fast rules as to who has the true and adequate credentials to work as an AI professional. I have heard of people getting hired by Google and Microsoft that didn't have any formal training in AI, ML or data science. And let me tell you that even those computer science graduates did not receive real world training in these fields either in spite of what you believe. They still have to learn ON THE JOB. It's the "wild west" out there for now. Another thing, it is actually getting to the point where advanced statistics and mathematics as well as hard coding are becoming moot as generative AI can produce and distribute complete solutions without the operator knowing how to code at all just by using "natural language" to describe to the LLM what you need and the expected output. That's why they call it Generative Artificial Intelligence, I mean DUH! So, my advice to anyone reading this is to learn as much as possible using all these online learning channels and stay positive and see yourself as an expert. Project that image and belief and you will be surprised at what opportunities can be open to you. Coursera for example offers professional certification tracks that are rigorous and offer the experience of creating real world projects that one can show to prospective employers during an interview. There are a number of articles written by hiring managers who state that today, employers are more likely to hire people with skills, not fancy college degrees with little substance backing them.
I have nearly all google certs, had someyhing to do while it was a lockdown 😂 none of them gave me job, but was a good addition to my current job and on my Resume.

IT just doesn't add up to what you are saying. This is more for people who have a background in IT or Programming etc. If you don't have that much experience in the IT field this is not going to help? what do you have to say???
Why are you all blaming her for you not being qualified? There are a lot of people who are qualified but struggle with landing the job. If your AI experience is out of date, its a good idea to freshen up. If you don't have the right experience for these jobs, that's on you, not her.
Do you have examples of someone who has done this transition into an ai job from a previous position through mainly a certificate like this? Seems like this is more of a supposition type video, but i could certainly be wrong. Either way it's a good find to look over the courses, thank you kindly!
The fact that you never received a reply from the OP speaks volumes. In general, most AI Jobs require a BSC or PhD in CompSci plus industry experience. There are alternate routes, but a basic introductory cert is like the bottom rung of a very tall ladder.
