I love this movie! Being 62, by Carousel Law, I'd be twice dead now😆 unless I had taken my chances as a runner. Noticed no mention or shots of Farrah being in the movie. That's sad. God rest her soul🙏🏼
Holy Moly! I just found your page and I am so blow away at your Logan's Run collection. Here I was thinking I was the only one who cared about this gem!
This looks great! I noticed the yellows running around more and that all the Sandmen have the same haircut except for Logan whose hair is combed the other way. Nice subtle touch.
I was hoping to to SEE Jenny while she spoke like they did with Michael. Still, some brief but beautiful footage of her during the making of the film. And she looks beyond beautiful in it!
I think the fascination I have with this film is that is is one of the last big budget scfi movies before star wars. For better or worse, Star wars changed the entire method of producing these kind of films. It was really awesome to see this documentary. I had no clue the carosel scene was all in one place.
I need to see this again. I have it but haven't seen it in years. There are a lot of scenes that were deleted and aren't included but can be found on UA-cam.
Adam, thanks for the comment. The complete audio can be reconstructed, but I only have a few seconds of the missing video. I've held off in hopes of finding more pics or video for that scene before attempting a reconstruction.
I saw it in the theater in Champaign Illinois, maybe ten times. Read the book about 50 times, there were naughty words in there! Then the TV series with Donald Moffat and that hovercraft abortion they had. The girl was gorgeous too. Loved it!
Quick Question: am I remembering something called the Dazzle Chamber correctly. Is there a quick shot of that or is it a light effect for carrousel (the spinning thing).
I believe the spinning thing is an effect for carousel. I recall Michael Anderson saying that a Dazzle Chamber set was constructed using mirrors and reflective tape. However, they decided to skip filming the Dazzle Chamber sequence because it was taking forever to get the camera positioned to NOT see a reflection of the camera and crew.

As a 54 year old, the 23rd central kit looking pretty good to me, as long as I can date Jenny Agutter.

Welcome! Glad you found us!

Lovely that they bothered to dub in the appropriate soundtrack even for the behind the scenes shots! Awesome work, as always.
Well, that was rather lovely, thank you.
So cool. Thanks for this. Watching on the big TV right now.
Now THAT is the way to watch it! Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Greathall75 I hope you find a HD source. :-)

Yeah, I totally agree! They should have featured her speaking on camera.
This looks much better than before. Great work!
Great job, I love these behind-the-scenes featurettes!
I remember when this film came to theatres and drive ins .
Wow, even this BTS footage looks great.
I love Jerry Goldsmiths score to this movie.

I reckon every true fan of this movie wants to see a reconstruction of the Love Shop scene on your YT channel.

@@Greathall75 Thank you for your reply, and I really do hope the missing footage of the aforementioned scene will surface one day...

Now our phones will be the red light.
Nice work!
Also I'm so happy the extra with the Prince Valiant haircut never shows up in this!
4:42 He walks right in front of Richard Jordan. Let's face it... There is no escape from Prince Valiant. 😆
@@Greathall75 Omg you're right I spoke too soon there is no escape!!!
He's omnipresent!
Did anyone catch the brief clip of the book's author, William Nolan at around the 2:20 mark?
Yep, that's him! Strolling around the set like a boss. LOL!
Surprised he wasn't able to put more control over it so it stuck more to the book. Like being 21 instead of 30.
This field is a year younger than me and looks a lot better than me 😂
Good sci fi film.
logan 5.

@@Greathall75 Makes sense. It seems that light thing we see spinning would be perfect for Carrousel.
