Mediatek never got any major L like snapdragon tbh. In fact in countries like India most mid range phones comes Mediatek. And they rocks in performance. Snapdragon is bit bad in my experience these days. They need to work it out. Plus Dimensity's partnership with Nvidia is making huge leaps. I hope the upcoming chipsets of dimensity will smoke snapdragon and apple as usual.
Depends on how mobile manufacturers redesign thermals in mobiles for better cool down. But those phone needs high tech engeneering and those phone are gonna be super costly. Only the rich can afford it seems, but with media tek it's an affordable option will all rounder capabilities functions administered. It might even perform better then snapdragon.

I have not read performance on the Dimensity CPU, but have on the SD 8E, and they all say the same thing that this chip gets HOT! So, basically you're back to SD 8 G1 with the overheating issues and thermal throttling...
SD 8E gets hot, resulting to lessen the power it gives to the phone. MD 9400 cooler than SD 8E, not much on the multiprocessing task but can do with acceptable outputs. If you're into games, go to MD 9400 because of its thermals, the cooler the phone, the longer the battery will last. If you're into camera, then obviously the SD 8E is the best choice. Clear resolution, with AI generations which suits best for editing and such. If you're just into social media apps and multiple app use, then both are on par. Lastly if you're rich enough, then give me either of those two ✌️😆
Dimensity win. What a nonsense. And price always cheaper. But i don't know about heat management. Its all on phone factory. I hope i have this chipset phone (with my budget will be few mont of saving) . The x200 allready win better in camera than new samsung ultra. Waiting xiaomi or oppo.
