    There have been EEG studies that demonstrate that television watching converts the brain from beta wave activity to alpha waves, which are associated with a daydreaming state, and a reduced use of critical thinking skills.

    Do walmart carry Dry Ice? I want to make a drink with dry ice but do not know where to find it. Also where you find the holder to put dry ice in that is neat.

      They would be inhaling a high amount of CO2 and a smaller amount of oxygen. As long as it's just a couple whiffs and the room they're in is large/well ventilated that doesn't do much. It's not toxic, it just displaces oxygen locally (so on the surface of the drink only. The gas then drops to the floor and mixes with the air).

      @@VeniVinnieVici Thank you! 🙂 Unfortunately I found getting and storing the dry ice to be too much on an hassle, so I never tried it. Good for a one off event, though.

    Will the dry ice make the drinks taste sour and unbearable

    • @VeniVinnieVici
      @VeniVinnieVici 8 місяців тому

      Dry ice (solid CO2) does not affect sourness whatsoever.

      @@VeniVinnieViciat first I thought of the same thing, but since I have a block of 10kg dry ice, I tested out on different drinks
      The most significant changes is from plain water, have the stinging sensation like tonic water and it somehow taste a little bit sour
      Then I turn to drinks with milk, latte chocolate milk tea matcha milk tea
      Fats from the milk coagulate and freeze faster and start warping the ice , but still that stinging sensation and the drinks taste faul
      And soda , mostly doesn't taste much different and carbonated gas escape faster than normal ice but the carbonated stinging sensation will stay as long as the ice still in there , won't go flat as normal ice seems like the dry ice itself supplying the gas, but feels like only at ~20% gas left in the drinks and stays there , won't go totally flat but not as enjoyable as fresh can of soda
      Maybe the dry ice i got was not as pure , and the result i got were different from what I was expected
      Maybe there are different food grade dry ice I guess

    It would take forever to make individual drinks.. can you make it easier, can you use stainless steel tongs, how many metal tea balls can one have.. there has to be an easier way..

    • @rulerofomicronpersei8
      @rulerofomicronpersei8 9 місяців тому

      You can use whatever you want, as long as it’s not your bare fingers touching it. I agree, who’s going to have several dozen tea steepers on hand, I’m going to just use a straw, to sip on the drinks instead.

    • @VeniVinnieVici
      @VeniVinnieVici 8 місяців тому +1

      @@rulerofomicronpersei8 A tiny piece of dry ice could get through the straw, and freeze to your asophagus lining. It would then displace the air in your lungs which can be deadly. A piece that fits through a straw might do that. A piece that fits through a tea steeper hole would probably not do that.
