I get what you're saying, and I agree but there are people (like myself) who have been a fan of theirs since they were on the Sing Off, or even when it was just Mitch, Scott, and Kirstie singing telephone, so for most people its just exciting to see a small A Capella group make it as far as they have and it makes people want to share how they've supported the group's journey. It isn't just the Grammy, its the #1 Chrstmas album, the sold out concerts, the success with PTX volume 3, and basically everything awesome that has happened because both old and new fans have shown their love and support. Bottom line we all love PTX and thats what matters!!!!!

Same thing here: I literally screamed my lungs off, kicked off the couch and danced in a mad way across the room. The way they acted on stage when they received the award was so natural, so pure, so true - I thought I'd die from the cuteness overload.
In my country PTX is still new. A friend just send me a PTX video with "check these guys out!". And it was the Daft Punk meddlie!! I was like: "They won a Grammy with that!!". Just goes to show that real talent, hard work and love for what you are doing will always find way to people hearts.

Them bragging reminded me of a charity live stream me and my friend did on her channel. We had 2,000 to 3,900 viewers watching and at the same time, Mitch, Pewdiepie, and Markaplier were watching. I lost my shit once I found out Mitch was watching that I get up from my bed and thought *Im literally going to faint* but I didn't faint. My friend was freaking out over Markaplier and we were freaking out over Pewdiepie watching. We raised 4,000 dollars for something having to do with fresh water and the channel is called MLPGamer. When you search it make sure you click/tap on the one with a red circle.

It's so great to see a group like yours be recognized by the record industry these days. You all have raw, undeniable talent and have worked hard to get yourselves to where you're at. Most importantly though, your love for doing what you're doing shows through in your music. Don't feel like you're bragging, you earned that Grammy and deserve to have it, damn it!
On another note, I'm curious about your creative process. Specifically, do you work on the arrangements collaboratively, or are many of the ideas coming from one or two of you? I'd imagine you've answered this before and I'm just late to the party, anyone out there in UA-cam land able to point me to a link somewhere? Mostly I'm curious because I think your arrangements are brilliant and I'm wondering where they come from. :P
Glitch Xero Hey! For originals, they usually write lyrics individually or in groups of two; and they select songs to cover on the basis of how excited the whole group gets when any of them brings a song they are inspired by to the table. As far as the arrangement goes, they usually sit in a circle and create the skeleton first- the beats (Kevin) and the bass (Avi). They then do the solo and the harmonies. Shreyashi Ray Thanks for the reply, link, and warm welcome! I'm not exactly new to the community, but at the same time I sort of am. I started listening to them after they won the Sing-Off, but eventually stopped following them until I saw them on the Fine Bros show and learned they won a Grammy. :P I was so stoked to hear it, I'd thought the modern record industry wouldn't embrace an acapella group, and (for some strange reason) never really subscribed to any channels on the account I used back then, so hadn't heard about all the other album releases and such. At any rate, a prodigal son has returned and is eager to soak up any and all things Pentatonix. They've become my musical obsession as of late. Really looking forward to interacting with the rest of the Pentaholics, you all seem like a great bunch!
Oooh, one last question: I know Kevin has his own UA-cam channel, as that's how Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie found him, but I don't know the name of it. Can anyone help me out? Also, what about Avi and Kirstie? Do they have channels by any chance?

Ha, kidding of course! But honestly though, the way you guys have fun with the simplest of subjects is amazing. It's a wonderful, fun-loving lifestyle that is truly child-like, but only in the best of ways. I've probably never seen two people so utterly in sync despite having differences that others might consider insurmountable. Daft Punk is seriously one of the best arrangements I've ever heard. Performing it with my acapella Jazz choir last year was some of the most fun I've ever had on stage! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. I was so proud of them when they won their grammy and when the presented i was crying i called my dad(who introduced me to them) and i was so happy. I havent been here since the singoff. I have been here since their first album and i just fell in love. They are legitimetly one of the only stations i listen to on my pandora. I have like 20 stations and i listen to like three. They are so beautiful and i would kill to go to a concert or to meet them oh god i would die.
