Very well done Hugh - great achievement for a first-timer. As for the price...ludicrous. Zero chance I'd splash out (pun intended) nearly €13K on one of those, and that's just the starter model !
Fair play Hugo. I'd often wondered how they worked. Lesson learned. I have in the past, in a much younger era, tried surfing. Mixed success. Wind surfing, lots more success and speed. Falling off the wind surfer from the top of a wave at speed could leave you a bit bruised if you were going a bit of a lick. A thought crossed my mind, doesn't happen often now I'm retired from the world of adventure due to age and artificial hips. Some form of light weight helmet to protect the head?? Hitting the water at 30 knots, is similar to hitting the road from a bike. Water is harder than you expect when you land. Especially from a jet ski doing a rack of knots, some can each 65/70 knots I believe. Cool a helmet isn't, but a cracked skull could be a rescue. I received a mild concussion from a bad landing on water, something I had never thought of at the time (35years ago). That said , I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
Great video, but hardly worth watching once you hear the price. I was expecting £3k-£5k, but £13k is for superyacht owners only. Plenty of Sunseekers being built just around the corner!
Well done, Hugo. You struck a claim for all us older gents!

I know but a lot of people do and personally I think it’s more fun than a Seabob or jet ski
Well done, Hugo.
Thanks, it was a lot of fun

A lot of kite surfers wear helmets now, so you definitely can get them
Nice work! Although I’m sure Jon Mendez would be a guru at this !
He’d be the zen master
Well done Hugo! Made it look easy 🙌🏼
You made it look easy, not me!
Sweet! You did great straight away! 🤙
Very well done Hugo!
Thanks Isak, it was a blast!
Awesome video and awesome riding! ⚡
looks amazing and very fun!
Impressive! Also, slightly annoyed you didn’t fall off more!
Trust me, I did, but mostly out of range of the camera!
Wow that looks awesome fun, Hugo made it look so easy. 👏👏👏👍❤️🇬🇧
It’s really not difficult. Foiling is much trickier
Very nice, very nice!
Way to go you earned 5 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻. rating
I’ll take that!

Good video and looks a lot of fun. However, for that sort of l money you could get a jet ski - which would last a longer!!
"I caught my first tube today... Sir."
Could buy a speedboat for that price 2nd hand ofc..
Wow that's a lot of money for a toy
30 knots?? I'd poop my pants at 15 knots on that thing. Imagine falling off at 30 knots, you'd get a concussion
There’s a reason we were wearing impact vest bouyancy aids!
@@hugoandreae3785 a helmet wouldnt be a bad idea either
Argh, sort out the microphones please!
Sorry about that, not sure what happened in that opening sequence
