A bit improvement from the a53 to the a54 for speed, but not enough to "upgrade" especially not for the camera and for size it's a downgrade to me, design would be nicer if it wasn't so bulky, but some people prefer that. The little speed bump is the extra 2 cores 2,4 , the a53 has the same cpu but 2 cores 2,4 and 6 cores 2.0, the a54 has 4 cores 2,4 and 4 cores 2,0. The Galaxy A54 5g has a Bett cooling system it has a larger copper vapor chamber.
The Galaxy a53 only has a narrow copper heat pipe.
