people saying "chat is this right" when not live streaming.. thats genuinely disappointing kids are doing that..and shows an EXTREME lack of parenting.. jesus christ
Kids are always linguistically affected by their media, it’s a very healthy and normal thing. Kids watching live streams also makes sense as all you need for an account is an email, on UA-cam not even that, and it’s free so it isn’t costing their parents anything. Also streamers are playing games they either like to play or would play if they had more money, so it also makes sense. It’s definitely not a sign of a lack of parenting, or any real reason to be disappointed but to each their own on the second ig

@@GrexsomeI think the implication is that because they pick up on it and continue to use it in situations where its not "intended" means two things 1. child is watching a lot of content 2. theyre unsupervised because otherwise the behavior would be corrected. while i do agree that its not really cause for alarm, there are kids that are learning how to speak online (and not in a good way)
