    I really like this stitch. I’ve been looking for a stitch for an afghan for a friend, and I think I found it.
    I’m glad that you stayed with us for an extra row, even though I didn’t think I needed it. I enjoy your company, too.

    your videos are my go to. i have done stitches because of your patterns that i would been intimidated to do had it been presented to me in just a photo. you explain so well and demonstrate good enough, the name of your channel rolls out of my mouth often especially when a beginner asks where to go to learn. if you're not a teacher, you should be. thank you thank you!

    I'm currently working on a scarf using this stitch right now. I liked your example using FW Imaginary Garden so much, I decided to use it for this project. I am so happy with how it's turning out - it's just lovely. Thank you for showcasing this stitch and yarn choice!

    It looks gorgeous!
    Dear Craig, I'm wondering on your view to blocking.
    When I look into forums the sides are 'I did not spend 40+hours of work to NOT block my object and leave it unfinished' and 'life it too short for blocking'. I don't want to steer an argument, I understand both parties, I am just curious on your opinion :)

    • @Volaris27
      @Volaris27 3 роки тому +8

      Hi Amy.. I never blocked a single thing in my life! LOL,, I've been crocheting 51 yrs.. I guess I belong in crochet jail . haahaahaa

    • @AllYay
      @AllYay 3 роки тому +2

      For me, it depends on the yarn and the stitch. Tunisian stitch rolls up like chicharrones unless you block it.

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  3 роки тому +2

      Good question! Typically I don't block any of my work, but that's because I mostly use acrylic yarn. Natural fibers like wool can be blocked and hold their manipulated shape for a while. Acrylic fiber, being essentially plastic, doesn't get influenced by steam or moisture the same way. I hope this helps somewhat 😊

    • @amyaccount7935
      @amyaccount7935 3 роки тому

      @@FiberSpider thank you for the answer :)
      Yes it helps me.
      Other people I've read about block especially acrylic yarn (but never wool) to break the acrylic and get them into shape. So your answer is just another shade on this very big specturm of Blocking 😄
      Funny how everybody has a personal view/taste/like on this 😊
      For me it just shows again there is no definetely right or wrong answer in arts 💚

    • @montanasmommy

      I only block things like granny squares. It gives a more polished look to the final product IMO.
