I really like this stitch. I’ve been looking for a stitch for an afghan for a friend, and I think I found it. I’m glad that you stayed with us for an extra row, even though I didn’t think I needed it. I enjoy your company, too.
Thanks again for a wonderful tutorial, have learnt alot of really nice patterns from you,and just wanted to thank-you for the time you take to make these tutorials, you are a great teacher! Will be looking forward to your next tutorial!!
Your tutorials are just the best in all of UA-cam-land! They are easy and fun to follow and your voice is so warm and pleasant. I discovered crocheting thanks to one of your videos and I've been stitching ever since then. Thank you for all you do! 🤗
your videos are my go to. i have done stitches because of your patterns that i would been intimidated to do had it been presented to me in just a photo. you explain so well and demonstrate good enough, the name of your channel rolls out of my mouth often especially when a beginner asks where to go to learn. if you're not a teacher, you should be. thank you thank you!
What a beautiful blanket! I really love 💕 it! Thank you for Spending more time with us I really enjoy spending time with you as well! You are an amazing teacher! I love everything you do and the hard work you put in to all your tutorials to bring us these amazing projects! 💙💙💙💙💙💙
I'm currently working on a scarf using this stitch right now. I liked your example using FW Imaginary Garden so much, I decided to use it for this project. I am so happy with how it's turning out - it's just lovely. Thank you for showcasing this stitch and yarn choice!
Thank you. This is wonderful. I have tried crocheting a few years ago, but I put it on hold because mostly messed it up. I will try this easy and effective pattern. Thank you so much for your tutorial.
Awesome. I've been looking for something I've this to wear at night when I'm crocheting. Minnesota winters are cold and I will make this looong so as to wrap around in it.
Oh I love this. Easy and quick looking. I have been looking for something to with a Isaac Mizrahi yarn I have and I think this is going to be perfect. If not then I will still make a wrap with this stitch. Thanks for your always fun and concise tutorials.
It looks gorgeous! Dear Craig, I'm wondering on your view to blocking. When I look into forums the sides are 'I did not spend 40+hours of work to NOT block my object and leave it unfinished' and 'life it too short for blocking'. I don't want to steer an argument, I understand both parties, I am just curious on your opinion :)
Good question! Typically I don't block any of my work, but that's because I mostly use acrylic yarn. Natural fibers like wool can be blocked and hold their manipulated shape for a while. Acrylic fiber, being essentially plastic, doesn't get influenced by steam or moisture the same way. I hope this helps somewhat 😊
@@FiberSpider thank you for the answer :) Yes it helps me. Other people I've read about block especially acrylic yarn (but never wool) to break the acrylic and get them into shape. So your answer is just another shade on this very big specturm of Blocking 😄 Funny how everybody has a personal view/taste/like on this 😊 For me it just shows again there is no definetely right or wrong answer in arts 💚

Hello 👋 Craig!
Beautiful! I can see a gorgeous wrap. I'm thinking I'll need a border though, any suggestions?
Did you figure out a border for this stitch
I became a new friend. I'll be by your side

Hi Amy.. I never blocked a single thing in my life! LOL,, I've been crocheting 51 yrs.. I guess I belong in crochet jail . haahaahaa
For me, it depends on the yarn and the stitch. Tunisian stitch rolls up like chicharrones unless you block it.
Good question! Typically I don't block any of my work, but that's because I mostly use acrylic yarn. Natural fibers like wool can be blocked and hold their manipulated shape for a while. I only block things like granny squares. It gives a more polished look to the final product IMO.
Спасибо!🙏💕🙏💕🙏💕
Could this be done in the round for a center out blanket?
