Yes it is but super hard that I’m unable to push it. I guess maybe because I’ve got some weakness at my wrist (after childbirth). It’s crazy IKEA didn’t think this through at all
@@jedidiahesther5255 OK at least it might be the same. I can try to explain something but it might be hard to type. Basically use something long like a dish spoon that you can place touching the stiff rib/tab where i put my thumb in the video (0:53). Then make sure it is on the inside of the leg divider and it reaches to the other side leg hole. Then pull it through the leg hole bracing it on the leg divider like a seesaw. if the other end stays contacting the stiff rib/tab it should help to move it..then as you do that lift up on the table corner like the video

Very helpful. I bent those two outer ones back and they loosened up on their own.

Just a tip. If you need to hold the chair steady, hold it down with one hand and pull the edge of the tray off with the other. Works every time.

Did you guys use a 3/4 snip to remove the tray or 1 inch?
removing the tray itself you do not need any tools. If you are talking about cutting some of the rib as I advise, any snip would work
