Great review! I only recently came across this brand and fell madly in love. My first purchase was Numero Un in monochrome black, super elegant ! And then I bought 2 Un Minis, pink and navy blue with gold chains. Wonderful bags! Roomy and understated. I am surprised how much they fit. Some day I will buy Neuf in chalk. But I am good for now. I wondered about that creasing on my nano since it’s the same silhouette I totally see that happening. Thanks for sharing!
I think it will happen but might be slower over time since the top flap is lighter since the nano is smaller.
I have the stickers on my polene numero un too! Yours look in great condition after 1.5 years!
I will say I don’t use it everyday so I think that helps but yes it has held up super well. I just worry about the stickers scratching the hardware yet I still cannot remove them 🙈

Love your content! I’ve got four Polène bags, the One, the One Nano, the Two (which is long longer made, mine is in the solid camel) and the Six. Love them all, highly recommend Polène!

So it is a full leather bag making it heavier than say an LV canvas. But in general I don’t find it to be that heavy. I hope that helps 😊

FYI-calf skin leather will show this type of wear due to temperature and how smooth it is. It is not as durable as the pebbled leather. Good review.
I recently got the numero un in black
I have only sprayed the leather with Apple gard. I have not conditioned the leather yet. I hope that helps!

Hi, I’m trying to decide on whether to buy the bag or not. Do you have a problem with the snaps coming apart when you carrie it? That would be a huge pet peeve for me.
No the snaps are very strong! I honestly have a hard time pulling them apart 🤣
Hi. I noticed you said that you don't use it every day because you can't fit two laptops and phones and work stuff in there.. Do you think that you could fit just one laptop or is it not tall enough for that?
It might fit a smaller laptop (that’s more like an iPad size if that exists) but it does not fit my dell that’s a 13” or my MacBook Air that’s also a 13”. You can get them in there with the snaps undone but the top flap won’t close

How did you remove the strap? I have the black and would like to remove the strap.
Just pull on the poppers and they will come out. It takes a bit of effort the first time you do it. Then move the little leather bits that hold the strap and it will come off! I take all mine off for storage purposes

It does not! You could try to put it in length wise (like vertical) but then the top will not close.

How heavy is the bag?
I looked at their website and it’s 1.7 kg. They are a European company hence the weight metric but I believe that’s like 3.75 lbs.

What colors do you wear a lot? Complimentary colors to that could be a way to start. Do you wear jeans a lot? Maybe stay away from lighter colors. Do you need this to be a year around bag or seasonal? Year around bag I would say stick to neutrals
