Code 5 length can't be any longer than 1.5metres. Anyone who use lead knows that. Not 2 metres. Jeezo
Chris Godfrey 1.5m if longer weld a expansion joint on it
You can do up to 2m with code 5 as long as it’s no more than 800mm in total girth.
Whats the reason why you can only go to a certain meter?If you made a box gutter 3m long what's the problem?
@@Sm17hy1 because of movement. Lead doesn’t stay still once it’s been installed into a box gutter and over time, it’s moves. The longer the sheet of lead you use, the more likely you’ll be for the lead to split, causing leaks.
Isn’t it safer to use an solder iron to melt it together.
