Thank you for a great review. You really understand the series and story of the way each character comes about. Like you said S2 maybe better if they have made a better cut to smoothly convey and transpire emotional scenes. Some episodes are a bit too long to show the deep feeling Cang Xuan has for Xiao Yao. However, some more actions could be added for fight scenes of Ah Nian, Fanglong, Xiang Liu with some cool martial art moves. Plus a scene Xiang Liu and mermaids using Xiao Yao’s blood to heal Tushan Jing should be in there to explain why Xiang Liu asks for her blood. About 30 episodes for S2 would be nice. I also recommend this series to watch, but starting with an original S1 NOT a special edition S1.
@@OgeMbata I finished the series and a novel, too. Tan Jianci’s studio made a little short film about Xiang Liu’s furball friend after he woke up from drunken. Have you seen it? It’s so cute.
