The "only" beauty of our digital world is, that - without it - I probably would never have heard this great guitarist. Love it! And love my JJ Junior btw 🤘
Hi Dave, I ordered an IR-D through Sweetwater. I was then informed that you don't allow Sweetwater to send your gear to Australia. The price in Australia for this unit is US $603.20, more than $100 more than on your own website. There are no import taxes, federal state or local taxes here that would justify this price increase. It's called greed! The unit from Sweetwater wasn't even new. It was an ex-demo model. I'd like you to consider that by preventing stores from competing, you are stifling competition, jacking up prices and making Friedman an undesirable brand.
Oh you think think it's free to get something to the other side of the earth ? I'm sure there some local pedals you could buy at a cheaper price cause they are local , your logic is flawed my friend .
@@aninja1053 Huh? Who are you? Did you even read my post? Of course not. It's actually quite cheap getting the pedals here. Pedals exported from the US are exempt from all US taxes and Dave would sell them at wholesale price to the Australian distributor. Australians only pay a one-off 10% Goods and Services Tax. That's it. Therefore, the pedal should be cheaper here than in the US even after including freight and 10% GST. But my beef is that Dave is preventing the guys at Sweetwater to sell his goods internationally because he wants to support his local Australian distributor who's asking for grossly inflated prices. Dave should be glad that I wanted to buy and use his product. Having worked in the music industry for 25 years, in Australia and overseas, as international product manager, I know how this works. Greed, baby, greed! It is obvious that your logic is flawed. I've since bought a different product that gives me the same sound and more. Oh, that product was manufactured in China. I am happy to support the Chinese economy because they manufacture some great stuff and they don't dick me around with export BS. If you want an open global trade and competition, you need to let stores decide on their own whether they want to sell it to me or not, whether I'm overseas or not. Dave said "no" to Sweetwater. I say "no" to Dave.
@@steverherb I absolutely agree. I don't buy knock-offs. That is why I bought a quality unit designed and manufactured in China by one of the leading amp modelers on the market. What I bought does not have valves but has so many more quality sounds and effects than Dave's one-trick pony. It's mind-blowing at 25% less. I'm very happy with this unit as it sounds and reacts like a valve amp. It's phenomenal. Compared to my BluGuitar Amp1, JCM800 and my Laney IRT 60H, this unit is perfect for recordings and live.
If you run it with an amp. How's the different sound in the fx loop or straight. Can it bring to life a solid State amp. Meaning just using the solid State for power and cleans
Just got mine. Sad I had to buy a buffered splitter to use in the loop so I can send a non IR signal to my pedal baby and cab so I can use the loop for effects and send IR to foh. Why is the $200 NUX amp academy the only amp in a box with the right I/O? Still, way better than my NUX, just more to buy for simple features.
I'm looking at IR-D and IR-J and thinking it should have a non cab sim out for the stage amp /speaker, and a cab simulated balanced out for FOH; without messing with the pedals in the effects loop. You kinda got to use one or the other. Ugh. What kinda of buffered spliter did you get? Did it work good?
Damn...
This guy is one of the new guitarist's generation that is holding the legacy of guitar!
Keep up, Jordan!
Great player but a dime a dozen
Love this dudes playing, was a pretty obvious fit for Marty Friedman’s band.
Another Jordan banger!!!!
i hear lots of Brian May and a little of Nuno. Killer song!
Brian May on Ectasy
Can we hear how clean it can be..ten videos in the last 20 hours and nobody shows it. Everyone just shows how much gain it has
Brett Kingman goes through clean and dirty tones on his channel Ms.
Jordan is Excellent! He ruled when he played for Ratt.

Genius!!!!!!Tone + excellent price = Raw!!!!!!!!!!!I really dig my IR-X, and I can hardly wait to get the IR-D!
Oops, RAWK!
Jordan is a BEAST!!!
Jordan is one hell of a player. He knows his way around the fretboard for sure and plays some complex, but great sounding parts.
Very Marty Friedman
Love these type of demos. Killer playing!
Thanks Jordan, killer track and playing brother!😊
Where can we buy that guitar?
Fatter than the IR-X I love it. You are causing me to have wife aggro and GAS Dave! Congrats on another awesome product!
Apart from the solid playing as always, the mix is actually so amazing!
Marty Friedmans legacy is safe ... i am happy :)
Effin rad playing. Love this!

Got my IR-D. now to go practice this opening riff. really really cool.
Wtf, is my first time hearing Jordan, he is the next guitar hero, his phrases and tone have a lot of feeling, great player.
You can hear the beautiful rattle of real tubes. Nice.

Jordan just kills it!!!
I hope there's going to be more demos, different ones I hope.....
Sick riffage, killer guitar tone! 😮
Great tone !
Just a young great guitar player, looks like a young Dimebag Darrell and plays with a melodic Marty Friedman type flair

I'd still pay more for a real-deal Friedman than some crappy knock-off

I wish he would tab out all of these mini songs.

Great for sure
My desert island amp, all ready for my pedalboard 😍🔥
Jordan is the best.
Very fine very fine indeed !!"
Reminds me of some of Richie Kotzen’s playing.
On Reverb I saw these new for 425.00. If I needed one I would buy it. Great pedal. I heard they can go straight into a speaker cab???
That guitar sounds killer too
Damn, that orange twin sister 🥵
you folks like pushing my buttons lol

JHS Buffered splitter.
What is the difference between this and the IR-X?
I’m confused.
IR-X + Plexi + BE100. This = JTM-45
@@ProfVonW Dirty Shirley/Twin Sister
@@FaberGT86and a Dirty Shirley / Twin Sister is Dave’s version of a JTM-45
First Thumbs up 👍
nuno baby?
❤
I hope we will also see a Jerry Cantrell and Jake E Lee model of these. 😀
7 years and no comments yet??
wow
So Dave does have a bar in his shop.
Jordan, yer a badass player. The Friedman sounds amazing. But, really with the black fingernails? LMAO!
Ummm Nuno sports the black nails...so it's a thing with great guitarists.
no song’s title?
I think it's an improvisation jam, but if its a song I'd like to know to name too, because its an awesome tune!
Someone please tab this.
🔥
What is the latency of these pedals?
About 1ms with 2048 sample IR, so half latency then any other IR available pedal at same samples as for today as I'm aware.
@@politoleo Thank you! That should be about as close as you can get to that instantaneous feel of playing through an amp.
If Slash played a Fender.
Wait, this is finger-synced! I very much liked the lick 1:11-1:13, wanted to repeat it... right hand doesn't cohere. The damn finger sync!
Smells like teen Marty spirits…
Better than Friedman!
Any real Marshall sounds different - and much better!
Someone’s been studying Nuno Bettencourt. Pretty sick grooves.
