As a 3D Game Artist, I've got to say that I enjoy a good Italian Beef Sandwich. Giardiniera and mozza added on.
I get using whatever ingredients you have available in making your sandwich. But when the sandwich is being shared/sold, I feel you should be employing a proper chef and the ingredients they require.
I'm a simple lady -- PB&J. I'm at the "has some disposable income" stage in my life, so I get good bread and fancy local crabapple jelly, and then use (to within a rounding error) seventeen times as much peanut butter as any sane person.
I had my first PB&J at like, 23 years old. And honestly, I don’t get the hype, but I love that for you

Pretty much like dood said it's nostalgia. They keep really well for lunches throughout the day, are cheap to make for a family in poverty, and don't taste bland. As I've gotten older I'm not big on them but as a teen and college student I loved them. @@OlexaYT

i think it's totally valid to have ai make a mockup for an artist to know what direction the art should be going.
i love hotdog sandwiches. a wiener, mustard, ketchup onions and cucumber.
The issue with ai art is not that a robot is doing the job and therefore an artist didn't get paid to do labor, the problem is that the ai model is trained on countless artists work without any compensation so using the ai is just straight up stealing from artists
Yeah, but it's so many different artists that compensating them all isn't feasible. Besides each indevigual artist barely contributes anything, it's only the collective style of MANY MANY artists that makes the AI art style look the way it does.
I feel like a real artist would have made the dice art be true to how dice usually look. The initial Olexa comment about AI art, was made while the screen showed six dice where the 1 and the 6 were not opposite each other. And once they started rolling, it showed impossible dice. Specifically when the dice show 4 and 6, the other two sides shown are 3 and 2 in the same order, so the 4-side and the 6-side are the same side. Like, come on, it's a game about dice. Makes it seem like it's heavy on the AI and the artist is an afterthought just to assuage any criticism.
Not me scrolling to make sure I wasn't the only one who saw that. Oh my goodness it's nuts, the dice are so broken

This is exactly (or close to) what I was hoping AI art generation would be used for.
I have a vision in my head of what I want something to look like, but I’m not a visual artist so I find it’s hard for me to communicate what exactly it is I want the artist to do. AI art solves that problem for me. I generate what it is I want, tweak it until it’s close enough, and then find a specific artist whose style I enjoy and provide them with my reference.
Basically, I think AI anything is fine as a placeholder or reference. I could possibly use it the same way for voice work. AI generate some lines with different voices to nail down what I want to hear in a performance and then hire somebody to do the performance.

I feel the same way. Artists can really hate doing what they will call “simple backgrounds” it can easily make art leap from 100 dollars to 125 or 150. That’s a huge jump because the artist is say there making a nondescript background. They find it really boring so that’s where the cost comes from.

Tyler, I gotta tell you about a sandwhich called The Donk, it's from a BBQ place here in Texas. It's stacked with brisket, pulled pork, chicken, and sausage then topped with pickles, onions, coleslaw, jalapenos, queso, fritos, and all the sauces. It is a lot. Like a lot, a lot. But brother, it's the best sandwhich there is. If I had to list 5 things, and those 5 things were the only things I could eat for the rest of my life, that sandwich would be on the list 3 times. It probably takes a year off my life but it's worth it.

Thanks for checking out the game! 42 rounds sounds like a lot but there comes a point in the mid game where you often win rounds with just one or two hands played and quickly move on to the next. It takes around an hour or so for a full run. Also my order is chicken cutlet with mozzarella cheese and honey mustard on a hero.
Getting there seams difficult.
Taking a curse every other round, with the score still going up when you get nurfed seams harsh
@@etherkye2 The score requirements for the early rounds (1 through 10) were lowered a few days ago, though this video appears to be recorded before those changes were made. Should definitely be a bit easier now, and if more changes are needed that can be done!

Here's what I'm noticing. I saw a post that said if it exists, there's a roguelike of it. To define it: if it can be gambled, it can be rogueliked
Try to avoid rolling for missing numbers in the middle of straights. Only go for them if you have 3-4 numbers already in sequence.
Baguette toasted, potato omelette and mayo, that's the best sandwich there is.
I feel like you probably shouldn't get a debuff every other round and the bonuses didn't seem that wacky, varied, or interesting. Other than that, pretty fun idea. Thanks for the video!
After playing the game myself I'd say that the curses every other round is pretty fuckin annoying actually. 20-30% chance of the score becoming 0, entirely removing the ability to play specific scores, multiplying the score by 0.1, the curses are all fine curses but they should hit every 4th-5th round, not every OTHER round. Eventually the game becomes more about stacking the mulitpliers for buffs and just hoping you roll the same curse you've been stacking to avoid one specific type of roll and get there.

I think AI art is a tool which, in this case, has been used as a tool. Not too long ago, use of photoshop has been considered inauthentic art, similar to the way AI art is being considered now. Fact is, AI alone sucks at art, and even at its peak it will continue to do so. However, a human can use AI as a tool to enhance hand-drawn art or as a baseline to work upon in a similar fashion people used to do with photoshop, speeding up the process by miles.
My favorite comfort food sandwich is... peanut butter and pickle. Now, don't knock it till you try it. I prefer it with creamy peanut butter and spicy dill pickle slices. I like slices over spears as they are thinner and doesn't make the sandwich bulky. The bread can be just about anything, but I like whole wheat. I don't make it often, but it makes me feel good when I eat it.

Vr art is a great replacement picture while oyu do more important stuff, i mean, would you rather "have an artist payed" or would you have something the artist could be payed for? cuz the game comes before the art, ik a guy who uses ai art for all his games cuz 99% of them are lil projects, but then when he finds a good game he developes on he pays artists to make the art

The best sandwich is the classic ham and cheese sandwich tbh. But regarding ai art, I feel that if it’s being used as a reference for an artist who will come in and re-make the artwork from scratch in their own style, adding their own touch to it, then I don’t think it’s a bad thing. That’s just the artist being provided with some very specific reference material. However, if it’s an artist coming in and editing on top of the ai artwork I think that’s pretty lame if the ai is trained on artworks by artists who have not given their consent for their art to be used that way. Yes, the artist they hire is getting paid but it is only partially their own art they’re getting paid for. Editing an existing artwork is a lot easier than making an artwork from scratch, and ultimately means the people hiring can get away with paying less since they can hire less experienced artists for a lower salary and then piggyback off of more experienced and expensive-to-hire artists art.
Also just the fact that a collection of ai-art generally looks very thematically and stylistically incoherent even if the individual works look fine. As you say, people will look at this and immediately go “this is ai art.”
Additionally you could add cucumber slices to the ham and cheese sandwich I will accept that also.

Cream cheese and sliced gouda onto two halves of chiabata bread, ham on that and spiced with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder (the last two preferably under the cheese so it doesn't burn) and into the oven. When it looks done, put fried eggs on it and cut it in half. Enjoy

I think using ai art to getting an idea of how you want a thing to generally look it's not bad, saying the ai art is the end product and superior to anything else is bad.

Sorry, no sandwich from me. Regarding A.I. Art, though, I feel like the line I draw is how the model is trained. If an Artist trains it exclusively on THIER own Artwork, and uses that model to accelerate their own drawing process, I have no issues. But, if an Artist is using a model that is trained on other Artists work without having the permission of that artist, and/or is using A.I. art to mimic another Artist, I take umbrage because you're essentially using A.I. art to cut out more skilled artists who might charge more for their higher skill ceiling.

The ai images mixed with everything about the UI and gameplay screams “LOW EFFORT” and “RUSHED GAME”. A better alternative to this would be Yahtzee on mobile, and I say that with great disgust
