Hayden is such a G! I met him playing Forza back in 2018 when he was the crazy guy 3 wheeling a 2015 mustang gt. He was the biggest RTR fan, and it’s super dope how far he’s come with working for RTR. I remember when he got the offer letter and then he no longer played with us 😂 Dope to see he got a feature, he’s an absolute stud (I mean look at that majestic hair)
It would be so sick to have Luke fink drive your car in all the rounds you aren't doing this year Vaughn! Fink with the proper backing and program would be an unstoppable force.

With the new comp format that Formula Drift decided on, they made it like a more professional grassroots type of feel with a mix of having fun tandeming & a very series competition! Can't wait for the season to start! For the average viewer, qualifying might be boring to watch, but I enjoy it equally (maybe even a bit more 😅) than tandem battles. But drifting is drifting and there are lots of other series to watch that stick with the old format and I'm very interested on how this change will affect the championship fight.
Did they release the date they will be showing the liveries? Also super cool about the livery designer! Love the behind the scenes stuff and the intricate details that you don’t normally see. Great edit/update🙌🏼💪🏼
I thought the same as Connor said he's doing all rounds but Atlanta, but Vaughn says at the end of this video he's also doing Irwindale but I don't think that rules out Connor as a potential RTR driver

James car, Chelsea’s old car which is now bens Vaughn’s car they showed in the video and also caught chassis for last year he crashed at Irwindale. Also they’ve got James old chassis they showed in the video and he said could possibly be fixed.
There is one problem with the new qualifications and that's locking in more than 16 drivers. Rookies are at a pretty big disadvantage going into round 2. Let's say position 17th from last season gets a fast pass and loses to 16th in top 32. Then a rookie wins the qualifier so is 25th and then looses to 8th in top 32. 17th might keep their 17th spot and keep getting the fast pass with no top 32 wins. Only thing we can say is that they are worse than 16th position but could be worse than 25th. For the rookie we know they are at least 25th but worse than 8th but they could be stuck in the qualifier battles until getting a top 32 win. The only fair way is to give the fast pass to at most top 16 because they will have guaranteed a top 32 win this season going into round 2.

The good drivers who get seeded can just put their feet up while the others have to struggle getting into the competition? Plus some drivers, however good they are, can make mistakes in qualification, which adds to the unpredictability of real competition, if you remove that aspect, it's almost getting to the point of rigged. Hopefully I'm wrong??? Maybe I'm not understanding the change correctly?

Wow that’s crazy, I used to drift with Hayden on Forza. Didn’t even realize he was fully on the team. That’s awesome!
What I want to know is what improvements were made to the nitrous system. Battles were lost because of that system malfunctioning.
