This is the best explanation of what cross product is I've come across. I finally understand it. Thank you.

the 'move inward' using xyzdist and primuv was a perfect nugget, explained two arcane nodes working quickly with a setup simpler than most Xpresso nodegraphs

Wow! And this is a free tutorial? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Though the vector cross product took me to my high school days :)

This is incredible ! Thank you. Do you have an idea how to make wateer droplets slide like real water droplets in real life ? Maybe using Flip

Thank you for this awesome content level, great rhythm; it's so pleasant to follow this tutorial; thank you again. One question; what happens if the geometry changes? How can I stick de mesh of the droplets to the surface? I tested it with an alembic geometric with deformation, and the droplets don't follow along the animated surface.

Got it =) I used the Attribute Interpolate node. ------> www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/nodes/sop/scatter.html

In German this falls under the very broad category of "Pumpkin" or "Kürbis", particularly "Zierkürbis" (literally "decorative Pumpkin") ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
