This is the best explanation of what cross product is I've come across. I finally understand it. Thank you.
Instablaster
the 'move inward' using xyzdist and primuv was a perfect nugget, explained two arcane nodes working quickly with a setup simpler than most Xpresso nodegraphs
requesting for dynamic droplets, thanks for this one
Wow! And this is a free tutorial? Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Though the vector cross product took me to my high school days :)
Amazing tutorial !! We always learn something with entagma !
Great! not too slow, not too fast, perfect for me!
I learned soo much!! Thank you as always Entagma
Awesome explanation of the double cross product. THANKS!!
thank you for pouring all of this invaluable knowledge into our brains.
Very interesting tuts! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing !! will try to improve it more to make it more realistic
Amazing
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, can you please explain how to animate your amazing water drops .
Cool!!!
This is incredible ! Thank you. Do you have an idea how to make wateer droplets slide like real water droplets in real life ? Maybe using Flip
Thanks, can you please do a video on "POURING" liquid? Thanks!
Thank you for this awesome content level, great rhythm; it's so pleasant to follow this tutorial; thank you again. One question; what happens if the geometry changes? How can I stick de mesh of the droplets to the surface? I tested it with an alembic geometric with deformation, and the droplets don't follow along the animated surface.
Got it =) I used the Attribute Interpolate node. ------> www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/nodes/sop/scatter.html
Hey Carlos, glad you found a solution :) Cheers, Mo
Does thidethod work on liquid sims?
how would you animate these as if its raining ?
i cant promote the little vop nodes. i use imac . im sad
Don't be sad. Be awesome instead!
project file is not on link
Link is fixed. Thx for letting us know. Cheers, Mo
is that not a gourd?
In German this falls under the very broad category of "Pumpkin" or "Kürbis", particularly "Zierkürbis" (literally "decorative Pumpkin") ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
