    Scalp Massage Combing Hair
    Dear fellow members and those who love Chen-family Taijiquan,
    In the situation affected by the spread of coronavirus infection our association is suspending many workshops. I really would like to have workshop and practice with you.
    Today I would like to talk about scalp massage combing your hair. Because it can make you motivated to do anything. It can help you practice Sizheng, Yilu, or Erlu by yourself.
    You usually brush your hair for grooming. But today’s point is scalp massage with a comb.
    First in the center from hairline in the horehead to the neckline you comb. Slowly you comb your hair, but the point is you feel you are massaging your scalp.
    Be sure that your comb has round tips. If the tips are pointed it can harm your scalp.
    To the side in the same way you comb your hair from hair line to the neckline. In the side you comb your hair from just close to your ear to the neckline.
    You need to push your comb with some strength. Be careful not to harm your scalp. The massage needs to have some strength to push. You can adjust your strength so that you can feel comfortable.
    This is not just combing hair. In this massage you use your “will”. By this massage you feel your scalp is well treated with comfortable stimulation. The stimulation at your scalp can reach your brain and then your whole body. It reaches hands and feet. You can do it with your eyes closed.
    Slowly---slowly---, in the center and to the right. And in the center and to the left.
    If you want, you can do it with your hands. Your nails can massage your scalp. You push it with some strength. I, mayself do it in the daytime in my office.
    How long, and how many times a day, you may ask.
    It depends on you. When you feel your head is worm you can stop. If you do it too long, it can give damage to the skin.
    As for me, I do it when I wake up in the morning, in the daytime when I feel I’m a little tired, and at night after taking bath and before going bed.
    One more thing I’d like to tell you. When you want to do something or want to get motivated, such as practicing Yi-lu, or Er-lu, you can do this massage.
    Or when you want clean up your room and yet you don’t feel like doing it, or when you have to write something but you are not motivated, this massage can help you.
    When you need to be motivated, try this massage. In today’s situation, this massage can help you practice Sizheng, Yi-lu, jian by yourself.

    代筆ですが・・・雪の朝:
    全て八方ふさがりの中、先生のユーチューブを拝見し、心身ともに救われた思いです。
    先生の講習会は中止になり、会員の皆様にも会えず、こんなことは初めての事で、意気消沈していました。
    ユーチューブをみて、がぜんやる気?が出て来ました。
