Does Phoenix have some chart policy for "no more gimmicks"? We had some problems in the past by the abuse of them everywhere but having none here and Showdown hurts a lot.
I think it does, since many of the charts are balanced by removing gimmicks on songs that doesn't require "unnecessary gimmicks" but the ones that do include what so called "experimental gimmicks" i.e. dasu's songs are intact. but i believe older songs like moonlight, dance with me, come to me, the one that does created with gimmicks in mind are still intact. idk how much is so called unnecessary and experimental gimmicks by project m teams.
Sadly yeah. For example, EXC said every level 19 or lower will have its gimmick removed, unless it's like part of the "concept" of a chart. So Loki S16 won't have its gimmick, but Bad Apple S15 or Dasu's songs will have them.
I have a feeling like this song got potential to have like D24 & S22 imo. The beginning of the song actually has a lot of "click" sounds & the song has lots of place where bursts are the main focuses so my guess is stepchart team maybe hiding their charts for future mid-update or something (I gotta agree, I have a feeling that the policy for stepcharting remove lots of gimmicks so it'll be less fun but I guess they want newer audience to feel comfy as there are large numbers of songs & not anyone can spend time learning all of the gimmicks in which song)

I assume they are using a similar ITG style, where gimmicks are present just on specific songs too
Missing Windforce steps, he'll put all the unnecessary gimmicks on you that all other songs don't have.

Try phalanx 21, mteo5science remix d22, and anguished unmaking d22 to train. Maybe red swan d20 for the jumps also.
