Thank you for your lovely pattern. I did however make another shell and sewed it to the original one, as my coaster seemed very floppy with the cotton yarn I used. (It also hid the stiches ) x
Round 5 I have over 60 stitches are we supposed to do 3dc then 2dc increase then 3dc again then the 2dc increase all the way to the end, because that’s what I did and mines gone weird and wavey
Wonderful tutorial !!! Still a beginner crochet-er and I used this tutorial for some gifts for teachers, and it came out perfectly thanks to the clear instructions. Thanks so much!
How is it that in round 3 I got the exact number, but for round 4 I get 46 instead? Am I supposed to start from the same stitch where I did the 2 chains or the next one?
While working the coaster surface, the ch2 at the beginning of each round do not count as a dc. So you start the round in that first stitch. Hope this helps! 😊😊
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial!! Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow 😊 Just wondering if we are allowed to sell the finished products, with credits to you of course!
Hey sorry for the late response anyways....... U should like put the base on a flat surface and press it,It gets flat after u put pressure on the base hope that helps :p
BreevanDelden there's nothing funny about it. I think it's not her first language although she speaks English well. At least you can understand what she says. That's what matters.
@ZenZen555 Hi..if you're looking to learn crochet, might I suggest Stephanie Zed's channel. She is absolutely THE best tutor when it comes to learning crochet. She is slow, clear and concise. I had only been crocheting for months when I followed her converse slipper tutorial. She really is amazing. I'm sure you'll find a beginner pattern she will walk you through as she does all her tutorials. You'll learn quickly and stress free with her...I did! Good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of crocheting!🎉😊😊

I thought [Dc, Inc] meant you do a double crochet in the first, then in the next did you do an increased stitch?

Where is the yarn from? And what color is it
Can you use any yarn for this?
Acrylic or cotton yarn work great for coasters. 😊
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial!! Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow 😊

@@365daysofdana thank you so much!!
What size should the body be when finished?
The diameter of the base where the mug is gonna go is around 9 cm.
I wish I could find a brown that color in chenille yarn. It seems so impossible
hey can you upload panda coaster pattern same like turtle???
Thank you for the idea! I will do my best to make one soon!
@@365daysofdana I'm waiting.
What specific brand of yarn are you using
For this, I used a local Chilean brand called Revesderecho
Does anyone know what US brand of yarn will compare with her yarn?
What is the difference between dc and dc inc?
A double crochet (dc) is 1 dc in 1 stitch. A double crochet increase (dc inc) is 2 dc in 1 stitch. Hope this helps! 😊
Thank you so much! I just made it and it is the cutest thing ❤️❤️
Help! Anyone...i made the base but it turned out to be so wobbly from the sides and it's way smaller than the one in the video...how do i fix this

@sonjabirdsong9262 if you hit the settings icon at the top of the video and select playback speed you can slow the video down - hope that helps 😉
En español, por favor.
Disculpe, mi español no es bueno 🙏🏻
Hola! Escribilo en tu idioma y ponle el traductor. Por favor. Gracias
Wow hard to follow! It’s to fast
utilize your pause button mary
If you go into the settings love you can pick your speed. That's how I learned
It's the playback speed you are looking for
No it's not it's the perfect speed, you can slow it down if you're a beginner
You do know you can slow down this video correct? Go to the settings wheel at the top right corner of the video and choose playback speed.
Fyi l love the pattern, but you go too fast l agree with the other subscriber
TOOO FAST 😭
Complicated
This is not beginner friendly at all
