When I was younger we had a wood stove, we were always completely comfortable, stove went out at night, but my dear grandmother would put bricks in the oven, then wrap them up in newspapers at bedtime, and place them at the bottom of our bed, we stayed warm all night, in morning wood stove was started up again! I miss those days, but see younger people like yourself living the dream! Thanks ❤

Another great season in the books, Jay. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures at the tents. Maybe next season you could do some ice fishing and also take us for snowmobile rides around the lake area. Setting up some trail cams to see what kind of critters you have around would be fun to see, as well. But... The videos I am looking forward to the most will be those where you're building your own cabin/having a cabin built. You deserve it. Warm, comfy, cozy, and big enough so the family can enjoy more than one night together out there.
Enjoy your summer with your girlfriend/family. If we happen to see you around this summer, again, maybe some fishing, hiking, and sightseeing around the lake.

I just love it when you're at the big tent in the winter. Our winter in Rochester, NY was a bust, so I really relied on your videos! The snow, the wood stove, the cooking, the wood gathering, the pine forest, the aurora borealis...all so wonderful. Question: what animals, if any, do you see there in the winter? Thx for a great season.

Thank you for another great winter season…. Seeing all of the snow and your daily routines are definitely my favorites. Love seeing your stoves and how you cook. I’m in absolutely no way a camper, but I truly find it really relaxing watching you out there and seeing how much you love it. Thanks also for the time that you put into your productions. It is recognized and appreciated.

You know Jay, I absolutely love seeing you at the tent, it’s also great to see Crystal too from time to time. I would love to see you expand the channel so that you can share a little more about the cabin/tenting community, and way their of life, but I never tire of seeing what you do, and your tenting adventures. Loved the Jackery too. Great piece of kit. 👍👍👍👍

Jay, I enjoy all of your videos. I especially like when you show the aurora borealis views, they are beautiful to watch. I'm a 66-year-old woman who is disabled but in my younger years, loved to go hiking, canoeing, fishing and just generally enjoy nature with all of its beauty and peacefulness. Your videos bring me close to nature again and I thank you, kind sir. The jackery 3000 is a game changer for sure. Wish I'd had one back in the day, lol. Looking forward to many more of your videos! By the way, I know it ain't any of my business but by golly, marry the girl!

I am surprised that Jackery doesn't offer a carry case for their product. If you are the type of person who loves to keep things in pristine condition, a case sure would help. Jay, all your videos are truly a joy to watch.

Im from Australia- nowhere do we get winters like yours. I love your simplicity and absolute enjoyment of your camping experiences. I love the tents. Your enjoyment I think is the best. We have 70acres of Australian bush, and a train carriage came with the land when purchased in 2018. The train carriage offers a permanent place to stop at, but what I love is to go bush in a tent and have bbq’s, keeping dry and warm, or cool depending on each season. When you camp you are so much closer to nature, to the birds, the kangaroos, wombats and others. As we head into autumn and winter, Im looking forward to seeing your spring and summer videos.

People shouldn't confuse the "operating temperature" with the "charging temperature" for these solar power stations.
Typically these units can only be charged when the temperature is above freezing, otherwise you risk damaging the lithium battery.

Seriously, I love seeing you out there, braving the freezing-ass cold all by yourself. But if you wanna include episodes with other people in them, that's good, too. I'm sure whatever you do will be great! Personally, I'd love to see you build that cabin you've been longing to build for so long. But no matter what you decide, I'll continue watching and continue "liking" every single video you upload.

Don't know about others, but I'd be interested in a short video showing how all the video making works, with details on how many, how long, what equipment, what editing software, etc. That stuff doesn't happen by itself, and understanding how much work you put into creating these videos would give folks an appreciation for what it takes to get the videos online.

Some food for thought. Using that resistive heat cooking plate uses more energy than an induction plate of comparable power, simply because the induction plate generates the heat in the metal of the pan and the resistive heater first heats the coil that then needs to conduct the heat to the pan and that process is less efficient. So using an induction cooker probably will stretch the use of your battery. Aside from that, you won't have to deal with a plate that stays hot after cooking. A single-hub induction cooker is probably a bit more expensive (not much) and possibly a bit less robust during transport though.

I enjoyed the added variety of your visits and travels to other places and seeing Jerry and his ways of life, very interesting. You can also continue to upgrade your shelters to address any short comings, you might consider installing a real door to your tent to seal out the cold air and drafts, even a storm door would be an improvement over the tent flap door. A cabin would be great but until then small improvements will be rewarding and your family will certainly appreciate anything you do to make them more comfortable.
Take care Jay, looking forward to many more episodes in the future.

I would have to assume since you're a great sponsor of them and have been for a long time, are you getting all of their stuff for free at this point. Which is amazing and good for you. But for most of us, we're still doing flashlights and generators, were possible.

Jay, I definitely enjoyed this winter season with you! I wish California had places where something like this could be done, but pretty sure it wouldn't last long with the amount of crime and the high population.
After seeing you using your new Jackery with the hot plate, I just would suggest looking into a portable induction cooktop. In the summer months, it would not heat up your tent as much as the hot plate, and they cook really fast. You just have to have steel (or magnetic) cookware for the induction to work. Just something to consider.

It's OK to be super emotional😭, Jay. Some of us get emotional just watching your videos. You mean a lot to your regulars. For many different reasons I'm sure, we find comfort & relief from the stress of our lives from you. For me, an old woman in a bleak nursing home, mourning my dear husband & this week the death of my last close friend, you transport me back in time to summers spent in an ancient, 1 room square-cut log cabin on the edge of Algonquin Park🌲. Nights could get chilly🥶so my 2 sisters & I sharing a bed huddled🛌under well-worn Hudsons Bay trapper blankets & watched the light🔥from the stone fireplace dance on the ceiling. Mom cooked whatever my father🛶🎣 caught that day in an old iron skillet in that fireplace: dipped in a beated egg, coated in crushed Christie's soda crackers, fried in butter.🧈 Served with sweet, deep red tomatoes🍅& corn🌽so tender it barely needed cooking😋.

Jay I love your video's they have been a great help to me. I've been looking at the different power stations and the Jackory is on my list just need to finish some stuff up on what I want to use it for. I like you have a lot of different things you cover and new technology is always a plus. Thank you.

Would love to see more of Yellowknife town and area. Also some guest occasionally would be great…maybe a contest for a viewer to visit.

I think it's a good idea to do videos interviewing
campers up your way. Is it cabin or tent camping?
I would say bears are a big factor and the bugs!
Hoping to see you soon and it was enjoyable winter viewing
You can also share some possible cabin ideas..that would be interesting
    Take care 🇨🇦❤️

Love your vids Jay, sad to see the season ending. I always love your recordings of the northern lights, they are amazing in Canada. My cousin lives in Brandon Manitoba and she posts them. Stunning though to be in the middle of nowhere and see them like yourself. I wonder if you could get hold of an inflatable hot tent to compare with your others? Keep doing what you're doing cos it's great.

Smarties are better than M&M’s. Lol I just told my wife earlier today that I found some Halloween candy behind the washer last week. Starburst still wrapped so I ate them.

Man, love the channel, loved the season and always look forward to seeing what you do week to week. I wouldn't mind seeing a few other 'new' things in the videos as well, mainly about some of the other stuff you do around the camps. See a lot of you chopping wood, cooking, eating, etc., but there's gotta be a lot more that you do out there every day. Maybe mix it up and each show throw one other thing you do out at the camp. Maybe hiking around, ice fishing, whatever. Anyways, thanks for great content and looking forward to future vids!!!
