Are we allowed to snag in Seward all year long? I’ve just gotten into fishing and caught a ton of reds in Kenai during July. Want to try snagging. Awesome vids too brother
Braided line sucks for snagging especially on windy days I prefer Mono its more forgiving . I live in seward for 20 plus years and just started filming my own . Good footage bro 🤙
Thank you brother for watching and if you just started I’ll make sure to go sub! Braided line has worked for me no problem but next time I’ll try mono see if I see feel a difference
@@AkHighAdventures Braided tangles a lot especially around your pole tip and treble hooks. You’ll definitely need a knife to cut but mono you can bite if you’re in a pinch especially if your hook is in someone else. Lol 😂 What’s sub?
@@AkHighAdventures Kinda tough when you’re dealing with #2…lol. I’m going for Halibut and Rockfish on 6/21 with Puffin charters down in Seward. My trip got canceled last weekend due to rough seas…so I had a plan B to go snagging..you def did well snagging in the deep water…next time going to try that!
AK Fishing regulations: “It is unlawful to intentionally snag or attempt to snag any fish in fresh water. Fish unintentionally hooked elsewhere than the mouth must be released immediately.” This is nothing to be proud of bro it’s cheap
What's considered 'write'? The right way, and legal way to catch sockeye in Seward, AK is by snagging them. Complain to Alaska's Department of Fish and Game if you don't like this approved way of fishing.
the flip technique is definitely my fav!
Love these videos. I can’t wait to hit up Seward this week. Stay blessed bro 😎
Thank you bro 🔥
Great video! Had a blast fishing with you
Thanx! Until next time 🔥

Yes in saltwater you can snag. Go to Valdez that’s where all the salmons are at and you can snag there also

Bro you need to do more research lol btw I’m in salt water 🤣
You know that’s illegal to snag fish In saltwater north of Bluff Point. You may want to not post blatant illegal activity 😂
Lmfao you know we can snag in saltwater here in Alaska. I wouldn’t be posting this if it was illegal. Do your research before commenting
