really dope. I noticed you changed your compression now. what is your logic because before you would set threshold all t he way to right and then adjust ratio...close to 2:1
I just went with a more traditional compression approach. The other technique closely resembled the compression style of the leveler from Harrison Mixbus 32C. Both are very valid approaches to compression, but the technique I was doing with the threshold all the way to the right was very light and controlled compression, which sounds great and punchy, but I have been doing more traditional approaches lately for fun. 😊
Great tune man, i appreciate your content very much, I had a question about the 4000 G, you seemed fond of it in the dr dre videos and your mixes sounded tremendous with it, is the E simply superior to the G or is it material dependent? thanks in advance bro!
I mess around with E plugin from time to time. I actually mixed this again with the G plugin, and yes, the G mix sounded better. 😊 You are right I am very fond of it, and it is my favorite channel strip plugin. 😊
@@youngmetroh Thanks! Thanks for tuning in! Feel free to ask me anything about mixing music, I will always reply. It might take me a minute to respond sometimes, but I try to stay on top of it.
