- My students asked me how to set up key in the HP Prime so that it types a string of the student choice. The name of a function perhaps, like "ilaplace(,s,t)". So I've made this video. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you, very much Roli. I find myself using expand() quite often and being able to assign it to a user key is very helpful.👍
Glad it was helpful! Recently, I've been using "collect" a lot, but to make it work I had to turn off "simply" to NONE in the CAS settings. Maybe I'll a video about that.
Brilliant, my invisible professor. Love your HP Prime tips and tricks.
Thank you! I always enjoy your Prime tips.
Ty for the video as always.
Very good and helfull video ! Thank you !
thanks!!
You are welcome!
Very very very useful!! Any way to do this on a TI 89 or Nspire? I've looked around and couldn't find any tutorial about it.
I don't really know the TI that well. I only reviewed it when I was choosing a "mandatory" calculator for the EE program and I selected the HP Prime and that was when I started the series on the HP Prime, for my students here in EE. But TI's have a long history of being good calculators, so I would not be surprised if some other UA-camr has posted similar videos for that machine.
Could a similar method be used to print/return a whole equation with multiply, divide etc if I use an equation often?
Honestly, I have not tried that. Perhaps you would test it and comment back on your experience for the benefit of us all who read this channel, myself included? Thanks.
hello. As a HP rpn fan, which one do you prefer using ? 50g or the Prime ? thanks 😀
With either of those machines you would be fine. But currently I am hooked to the HP Prime. I have a lifetime of RPN programming, but the power of open source software as a CAS in the Prime really breaks all former boundaries. The Prime is also like a Tesla, it receives free updates on the Internet several times a year.
Good night. Could you please give me the symmetric component program that you have in your hp prime? thankful
That came out of the blue, what do you mean, sir?
This deep and sexy voice save my life one more time when I try to make a shortcut of the partfrac function
Bravo🤣🧔♀🧔♀
Thanks. Glad you liked it. :)
