I usually never comment much anywhere (Instagram, UA-cam etc) but I just want you to know, I have been watching your videos for a while ( I dont remember exactly when I started but it has been at least 7 years, probably more) and I initially started to watch you because of Japan content as well because I was about to start my Japanology studies at university. Yes, I was sad when you left Japan but it didn't change that you are still you and you put in all that effort and you are so creative, inspiring and I just LOVE your esthethics with everything and also how you let us in, showing us different aspects of life (instead of always the exciting but rather superficial "every video = going out exploring new things" kind of style). And personally to me this let me get to know you even more and by now I just love watching any content of you because I love seeing where all of these steps lead you to.
You have grown so much and even tho I am just a stranger on the other end of the internet, I kinda feel like I grew up with your content (I started when I was around 19, now I am 27) when I also tried to figure out myself and my "own" life :) I have definitely seen the change in "numbers" when you left Japan and I always felt like it was a shame since your content was still great and it was still you working hard for it! But yea, I get it.. it's just how it is sometimes. Without meaning it in any weird way, I want to say that in a way I am proud of what you have accomplished through all these ups and downs. I also went through a lot of more or less unexpeted life changing changes and felt like I could relate to your content actually more in a way :)
I wish you the best for the future, I am rooting for you and I am excited for whatever may come!! ♡
Oh my gosh thank you for your comment, it really warmed my heart and thank you for sticking with me for all these years! I am so happy we could grow together throughout the years oxoxo
I completely relate to the feeling of seasons of friends and the almost mourning of past friendships ❤️🩹
It's just how life is xoxo every season is a new season
Sad to hear about the disappointment, but the closure must be giving you a sense of comfort and readiness for the future !
I could finally mentally close that chapter of my life. Still ready to go back though XD But the past is finally in the past xoxo
I love how open and honest you are in this video! I‘m so over highlight reels of influencers, where everything is shiny and happy and when someone do complain, it’s always something super minor and superficial. I want real life, with all the good, the bad and the ugly. So thank you for speaking so honestly about everything, I really appreciate it ❤
On another note: I can‘t wait for the new product to launch, I‘m waiting for it to place an order since I also want to try the oil. I didn’t order it yet, because I live in Germany and shipping is expensive, so small orders are just not worth it for me.
Thank you for watching! I understand, it's so expensive to ship international. I eat half the cost of shipping to try to help reduce the cost for customers xoxo
I have watched your vlogs since the beginning and your content has really been something Ive enjoyed through many seasons of life from being in school, work, moves, getting my first "grown up" job. Your content is hoenstly so fun to watch and something I look forward to. It makes me feel like I have a friend talking to me when I am decompressing from a long day. ❤
Your comment brightened my day! I am so happy my videos have been there for you throughout the ups and the down of life xooxox
I have to say, as a small business owner myself, it's refreshing to hear someone else voice their day to day struggles with running a business. It's hard. And it's a constant learning curve. And often we make no money. I am in a similar situation and I appreciate your openness and honesty of some of the challenges you are facing. I often get tired of seeing everyone on UA-cam excelling at their perfect lives and making a million dollars a day doing nothing. Love your content. So excited to see you are back to vlogging. Literally left a zoom to watch your video 😅💗 also SO excited for Glow Atelier! I love your shop. I tell everyone about it. My skin has never been better since using the products you sell. 🙏
They are the 1% love, it's easy to feel defeated, keep at it! And that makes me so happy to hear you're loving the skincare so much!! xoxo
This video made me reflect back to your Japan days, and discovering so many kind and wonderful people in that community. As you know, I follow you for you, it doesn't matter where you are, or what you're up to. It has been a wild ride, but one I'm glad I hopped on.
Thank you!
I really appreciate your honesty in this video, it's very relatable. I'm happy for you that you were able to get closure. Now you can enjoy your future Japan trips freely without sparing those people another thought! I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on how Japan has changed since lockdowns. I wanted to go this year, but decided to wait until things died down a little. It seemed like everyone rushed to Japan once they finally reopened.
It definitely was super busy in japan when we were there! It felt a little crazy.
Girl I feel you….I don’t have a big audience or anything exciting going on but I love vlogging. I love your vlogs of all kind and yours are special in their own way ❤
Keep at it girlie! Do what you love to do! xoxo
Loved your honesty about life! But girl I feel so sad for you that you get sick so easily, being sick while traveling sucks. You did A LOT while that sick actually, I am impressed 😂
It was definitely a challenge XD
Hey I saw your lip lift video a few years ago and I was too scared to take the plunge, I eventually did! 4 days post op & I had the exact same side effects to lidocaine as you! I’d say you helped push me to get it done and even though I’m so swollen, I’m so happy I finally did, love your channel 😊
It is heart breaking that ended up being the case but it is good that you got some kind of closure from that. I hope to also get some kind of closure from my trip to Japan. I've ALWAYS wanted to live there, and being someone who grew up watching that particular group of friends, I definitely got FOMO so hard even though I was never part of the group. It has been a long time coming, but I'm also finally going! Whoooo! I'll be there in the spring as well! I'm going from Jan 30th to April 30th. That way I get to go right after my birthday and experience some of Sakura Season!
Native Texan here! I’ve been a fan/follower for years. I too become sick for a prolonged time especially from a minor cold manifesting into walking pneumonia and can’t enjoy being in the rain or else I’m downhill within hours. This was a great video and comforting to listen/watch while cleaning up my “doom room” per every time I tune in! Stay well! Xo
So to hear you also get sick really easily! Thank you for watching! I hope the doom room got cleaned well haha xoxo
Great video Bii, your candor is the reason why I’ve followed your life journey since living in Japan. Also, you look absolutely beautiful in this!❤
Thank you so much!!
I've loved all your vids. Living in a place where it's been hard to connect with people in a meaningful way, your vlogs feel like I have a friend.
I'm so happy my videos can bring joy to your day, thank you for watching them xoxo
i’m interested in the dallas vlog!!! where did you have high tea?
Good to know! It was in the hotel we stayed at The Adolphus hotel
I loved this video actually. I started watching you for real when you got back to Toronto (even if I'd occasionally check your Korea, Japan vids) & I loved these vlogs so much. There was something about you & Toronto, that air
Thank you for sticking with me for so long! I'm happy you enjoyed this super chatty vlog and thank you for being so supportive xoxo
I appreciate this video so much! Thank you for update and talking about your experience going to to Japan after 6 years!
PS. HARD RELATE Ive lived in California for 6 years but my family is in indiana. It used to be less than $300 to visit family, now i can’t go back for less than $1000. But i could fly to Hawaii for $200.
It’s so messed up 🙄🙄🙄
Thank you for watching! That's so sad. Why are flights like this?
Even though it was a bit painful in some ways your story is a lot like that book the Alchemist. If you haven't read it, that book really reminds me of you and I recommend it. You had to move around to find your purpose, start a business and meet your hubby. Things align for reasons and you went full circle, its actually quite magnificent. And the ones that love you really love you, like us
Oh that is so interesting to hear! I should give it a read!
Hey lovely, thank you for such a huge life update. I have been following you since you moved in with Kim way back. I remember you not wanting to leave Japan then, and feeling so sad for you. That farewell picnic with everyone in Yoyogi Park (?) made me cry if I remember correctly 😢 Even though you were so sick this time I’m so glad you got to go back and sort through so much, even though it sounds like it was hard. For the record, I loved your vids and being “shown around”. I’ve been to Japan quite a lot, and you still showed me places I’d never been, and want to try on my next trip ❤ anyway ~ am here for all your vids x love whatever you do x
Haha the farwell picnic i didnt realize would be a farwell picnic. Leaving japan was very hard, and it was hard again. But there was so much healing. Thank you for watching and sticking around! xoxo
Happy to see you filming again and that everything worked out for you in the end ❤ Wish you the best!
Thanks for watching! xoxo
It was so nice watching this video and catching up to where you have been. So proud of you for all the hard work you’ve put in glowing atelier ❤glad you have gotten some help and I wish you tons of more success and growing it to the company of your dream ✨ so happy you get to go back to Japan again soon and I hope while you are here in Texas, Austin treats you well.
Thank you beautiful!! xoxo
Been hanging around since the Korea Japan days and have ALWAYS appreciated how honest you are!!! I moved back to TX from Japan 4 years ago now and would LOOOOVE to go back!!!! I hope someday it will be a possibility!!!
Buuuuut TX is what you make of it Houston Dallas east west north south it’s soooo spread out you really can find something for every one!!
That being said like every where it has its suck moments/things like one of them being that everything is soooo spread out buuuut hey some people want just that.
Dallas area just got a coco ichi and has a growing Asian culture spots with foods, goods, groceries if you’re ever missing it and I live about 45 mins outside Austin & has a smaller area too with Daiso asahi imports and it’s all like 7 mins from each other when you’re in the area 😁 I take my 4 year old every few weeks for a little adventure and snacks he wants to go back to Japan too 😅
Aaaanyway!!! We’re always down/looking for adventures out here!! 🥳
And thanks for being YOU!!!
Im glad the Japan trip gave you closure and I am so glad you're still visiting again!! I wish you the best of luck enduring your season of life in Texas. Try to find joy in the mundane quirky spots. I think you would like the Silos in Waco! Since you cosplay, would you consider going to conventions? Though if you get sick easily I understand why you wouldn't.
Thank you for your support! I want to go to a convention so bad! Maybe some day haha!
Maybe if/when you move back to Japan, maybe you could try and live in a different city? Tokyo will always be there, but other places might be incredible as well! Maybe it will kickstart that new normal - with some familiar things still being in the country you love. Holding my thumbs for you! ❤
Definitely considering that!
Bii. I just love you as a person and support your dreams. You've grown up before my eyes. Single life to married. Moving countries... Starting you own business and you look absolutely gorgeous !!! I'm so happy you made it to Japan and could heal old wounds. As a person who grew up back east California is so different.. and went back every years to see my grandma s were were alive. It's not the same as it was and friendships change. Just moving here and having my own business (so I relate it takes 5 years to get out of the red by my financial planner) Life just takes you like the game crack the whip. Look tho how much you've manifested your dreams. Japan is great... Moving we will see but it's always there. Trust the process and have faith in your dreams. It is wonderful how settled you are with honeyboy. I miss twitch and those fun conversations. You've really turned back the hands of time you are glowing. I've stuck to a few from Japan as a viewer in hopes to go someday. Sending you good energy. Stay well. Looking forward to your new product... Prayers for you and your dreams. Canada is nice I'm sure. My friend lives in Texas and I am not sure to live there she is so settled like way back. Business wise LA is best for fitness and yoga. Not the cold NYC. I did want to do it and live in Japan but I'm married too. Different life and ideas. Travel for sure. Anyhoo... Keep your head up you got this my dear. (*˘︶˘*).。*♡
Thank you for your kind words, love, and support over the years xoxoxo
I look forward to any content you upload!
Loved this vlog. Working foc😢. Bottles, yip Obsessed Garage Matt had the same life wow how hard can it be. Life accelerates as u get older.
You’re very genuine and a wonderful person! 🙌💖 You’re succeeding! 💖
You're so kind! Thank you!
LOVED this vlog!!
yay!!
My husband and I over the summer drove down to Tennessee from Toronto and back up, then a month later we drove down to Georgia and back up. We didn't rough it, we stopped into a lot of tiki bars and stores we don't usually get in Canada so we can bring goods back up with us. We were only at our main destination for 2-3 days, but we still had fun. Gas is a lot cheaper in the States too. I think our prices in Toronto and GTA is much closer to the current prices in California. It's still more expensive than Hawaii and Alaska.
It really is extremely expensive to take a flight. We're currently planning to go to California, so we're keeping an eye out on deals for flights, and next year we're planning on going to Florida.
It's weird because my boss lives in Florida and she said she was still able to find flights for $300-500 US a person round trip in early 2023. So I guess it really varies on when you look. We've discovered Air Canada is the way to go for direct flights. West Jet and Porter don't go that far themselves, so we'd need to do connecting flights (no thanks, too much time wasted). It's really odd you're finding flights for $1,000 though since there's more airline options in the States that probably go to Toronto fairly often.
Not roughing it makes such a huge difference. Our trip was more for just getting there with limited ability to stop and explore. But right? The flight prices between canada and the US are outrageous these days. It makes no sense.
You can find them, but reasonable rates arent common like it used to be.
Are there ore cities in the US you want to go to? Los Angeles, NYC, Seattle?
We cannot leave austin. We need to be here.
Wait was that Venus Angelic at 5:29 ?
No, that is my friend Stephanie. :)
❤i notice when you're a j-vlolggers with any
platform. Views cones in your social media grow. I hope one day you can talk about how to get back posting on social medea. You're amazing i been following you since you and kim were roommates. ❤
I also moved to Texas and it is boring here 😂
Its so darn boring ahhh
@@itshoneybii im in the Dallas area, but everything is so spaced apart
Really proud of you, Bii ❤
Thank you beautiful! xoxo
hope ure still friends with emily
Is the toxic ex the guy who said on camera that he didn’t like your eye color? 😵 that’s engrained in my head
I don't remember this at all bhahaha I don't think my ex ever said anything like that
@@itshoneybiiI might have misunderstood 😂 but I was pretty sure it was something about him actually wanting you to rather have blue eyes like his. I shall delete this from my memory then hahaha
I found you while watching Taylor back in Japan and I watch for you and only you.
Japan was nice New Zealand was nice and Korea was cool. but I have to agree Texas is boring. 🖤💋❤️
Texas is so boring bahaha
not new zealand 💀
I am sorry that you were ghosted.Sharla is a fake friend who uses and drop people so quickly. Consider yourself spared from a toxic person
Where is this coming from? I never said I was ghosted or even mentioned her. Please do not randomly bash ppl...
@@itshoneybii it’s clear that’s she couldn’t even bother to hang with you while you were there. She is the sort that only keeps people around that serves her and drops those that don’t. Anyway she is a known snake, even if you don’t acknowledge it publicly, it’s obvious to everyone.
Why are you speculating when she just said that people grow apart? That is life. It's hurtful, but we all grow in different directions. This isn't a tea channel, or a drama channel. @@Jvloggersjapanfraud
