This is the first Amazon Video that truly explains in detail step by step how to set up your listing for success. Thank you so much! You are an amazing teacher! I truly appreciate this video and am looking forward to seeing the impact it has on my products! Great Job!!
Thank your Dan, amazing video packed with information I’ve not understood previously. Big thank you! I’m going to have to watch this video a few more times. I’m on my 3rd product on FBA, first was a disaster, lost $5000. 2nd a little better, but only broke even now I’m on my third. I really want to make some success with this one.. watched 1000’s of hours of you tube videos. But I realized I should stick with one tutor only, so decided I’m only now focusing on your tutorials and videos, which seems so much better. I want to thank you sincerely for your videos. Kathy
Hi Dan, thank you for all the lessons! I have a question how much search volume should be from minimum to maximum? When is too high volume that means big competition. Should I put all relevant (green) into the listing without less relevant?
Hello Dan, I've been watching your videos. I have a question. I do have a brand and some people knows about it. Do you recommend to put the brand name first or the main keyword first? Where should I put my brand name on the product title on amazon? Thanks!
also, we do all the hard work in making a most relevant title and competitors simply do copy and paste! The only way is KEYWORDS within the listing but again there is 200 character limit so...is there anything I can do Dan?
Amazing job I mean you take the time and you go at it with full heart and effort !! Truly top person out there , keep up the hard work 💪 Our business couldn't be successful with out content like this
Great video Dan. I love how you explain the whole process from start to finish. Do you have any further training on how to write a great listing? Thanks
Hey Dan, many times you mention that plurals are important in Amazon content, I've read in many places that Amazon pics up on plural words. Is this NOT accurate, and you should include both singular and plural words in your listings?
Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with running PPC without reviews. If no one sees your listing they can't buy, if they can't buy they can't review. If you're confident your product is well marketed, high quality and solves a problem then you should be confident that you'll get sales eventually, which in turn will lead to reviews. Check out Dan's "How to get more reviews" video he did recently (uses Sellerise to automate asking for reviews) this is how I got my first 5 reviews in 2 weeks. I was running PPC before that with no reviews too!
Hey Dan, this video is so, so helpful! Quick Q for you - if I'm using a keyword like "glass water bottle" for the keywords in a+ content (or anywhere else not visible), Can I then remove "glass" for another longtail keyword phrase like "glass water jug"? Will it connect glass with water jug for a future search, or should it remain as a sentence for optimization?
Hi Dan, I really love your videos. If you don't mind, I have some questions, I already watched some of your videos, First is How to identify the top 3 competitors? (Based on keyword research video) And lastly, Can I repeat the keywords I use and put it again to Image Keywords? Hope you will notice me. And thanks again ❤
Good video, about to look for second product so will try this method to compare to my first listing success, with the hinge, do you just put "hinge" in that one column in a certain colour and exell will pick up the the phrase in the other column automictically ?
Hi Dan, great video! Quick question: is it always the case that we optimise our listing for the highest search volumes regardless of level of competition? When im setting up my ads ill generally avoid the highest competitive search terms as it will be hard to out rank my competitors who have a higher budget, is the principle the same for my listing? should I be aiming for the highest search volume, or targeting keywords that are a good balance of competition and search frequency? Cheers!
I love this question! There is no simple answer because each category competition level and keyword search volume is different. We focus on what we call Holy Grail Keywords, which put in plain language is identifying the keywords that will give your current listing the biggest competitive edge. If you are brand new in a competitive space, it probably doesn't make sense to base your whole strategy around only the highest search volume keywords. Spend the research (it takes a good chunk of time to do well) time figuring out medium search volume keywords with high buyer intent that the top competitors are NOT dominating yet. You can break into those and start earning hundreds or thousands of sales a month just from them. After your listing is more mature, you can switch the focus to the highest search volume keywords to truly scale and grow.
i noticed you used station a few times in your title- i'm a bit confused because it seems like a waste of characters to re-use it? also wouldn't you want to take all your keywords from the highly relevant list before moving onto the other lists?
Hey Atara, if a longtail phrase is important I like to keep all words present and in order and that's why you might see repetition like this. It's a ranking focused approach rather than a readability approach. Those longtails may often include the highly relevant list keywords as a part of them and that's why you see this. Keep in mind, you don't only want to target highest volume, you also want some lower/medium volume as there's less competition there, the longtails provide the "best bang for the buck" covering all cases if that makes sense.
Hi First let me say that I enjoy a lot your videos I am a beginner with FBA Need some inputs please I just posted my first Product but may have done a mistake I want to sell 2 units of same product but it only show 1 How do I edit and correct information before my shipment arrive to Amazon Thank you Alberto

Great video. I hate the title though. But if keywords > readability, I guess we have to do that.
Agreed Android it's just one of those things

Constructive criticism Your voice is very monotone to listen to, it would be nice for more varied delivery, found it hard on the ears.. long video
