Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 тра 2012
- Finally got around to replacing the Fuel Pressure regulator on my Versa. Although my car is an 08 sedan, the repair is the same for all first generation Versa sedans and hatchbacks.
Any questions, feel free to ask, and check us out on the forums!

after calling a few dealerships, I did find one that would sell me the part, but my local dealership wouldn't order it for me. They insisted I had to buy the entire fuel pump. Also, it would've been more expensive. Getting it through Nissanpartszone saved me some cash.
Just finished changing my own regulator. Your video made it possible. Tanks à lot Matthew.
Thank you for posting this video kid because it really help me out. The locking ring that secures the fuel pump is a lot easier to take off with a pry bar when you Bend the clamps up, it'll twist right off. And to secure it back in place you have to bend them back down, it was that easy. Or it became that easy after I watched your video and saw the difficulty you had with it.
Still no issues with the fix. Glad i could help!
Thanks for the vid I would have not begin to know where to start. Fixed it in under 1 hour and it works like a charm. Keep up the good work to help the backyard mechanics like myself. Vehicles are built now days to keep us in the dark. You my friend have shed some light.
Thanks a million. Followed the link and ordered the part.
sorry for the delayed reply. Im glad you were able to fix the problem.
i had a problem with my versa and i was searching all around google for the problem but your video got me out of the problem, thanks alot for uploading, paid $80 for o-ring and regulator at nissan, needed fast. good job man.
Thank you for posting this. Helped me replace the pump in my wife's 2009 Versa. The pain in the butt was the fuel line it has a different type of clip. I found that bending one of the side fins up I could get a small crow bar in a position that avoided slippage. Great video. Thanks again.
Very useful information, thanks. I'm the same problem with my toyota echo 2005.
I stood outside car slid a 6 ft metal rod under seat and lifted. Seat came out. Used a copper punch and rubber coated metal hammer to get ring off. was able to get ring off without bending anything. copper punch is for no sparks when working around fuel. Thanks for the video Matt it was helpful.
Hey man. Thanks a bunch for the video. You saved me hundreds. Car works like a charm.
Yeah that sounds like my old 2005 sentra, good video man!
thanks but keep the camera steady man . I just got sick . thank you again for your tips !!!!!
good luck
Great Video Man. Very Informative Thanks
Thanks for the video. Saved me $$$. I had my Camshaft Position Sensor go off and I replaced that 2 times then we thought it had something to do with the fuel line because it wasn't firing up the first crank. We caught you video and followed it. My and my wife aka Genius Tapped the ring off together at the same time and with 30 minute we finished the job and first crank it fired. Just wanted to say a Big THANK YOU.
No issues. Its been 3 months now and I've never had that long start problem like I had before. I also haven't had any issues with check engine lights.
Straight up great video. Thanks for at least showing me where it was at and the steps I would need to take to get it off
Matthew, you sacrificed your finger blood for us fellow Versa Unfortunate. We will never forget you.
MY FAVORITE PART OF THE VIDEO IS YOUR TOE NAILS LOL, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
