Amy is the worst kind of activist, willing to lose every fight that they can't win with a round 1 KO and totally dedicated to exactly one issue to nearly the complete exclusion of all other concerns. ...I feel like the way I phrased that makes it sound like I think activists are bad in general so allow me to clarify that I very much do not think that. Activism is good, but Amy is a bad activist.
she borders on a fanatic. i never liked her. an activist can at least be reasonable, but she was always all or nothing, and more often than not that gets you nothing. small steps are still steps, and a lot of small steps can add up to a big step and is mostly how progress is made.
@@oldfrend Her single-issue aggression wasn't always so bad. It's...probably exactly what her people were paying for. But it does get frustrating when the only people we really see her doing battle with on the show are people who are on her side. The administration's job is to make compromises to get what they can, her job is to not compromise because it's never enough.
Holy shit. A Tully's. Been gone for about 3 years now. Course they didn't serve tables like that or serve omelettes at Tully'ses, it was just basically another Starbucks. I'm guessing people weren't expected to know that. Where the heck did they film this? Tully's didn't have any stores east of Arizona.
Good god woman, i HATE that Amy character, she get what she want but it's never enough, she want always something more, Josh warn her again and again and then, when she lose, she lose more than she had lost if she kept his mouth shut in the first place!
Yeah Mary- Louise Parker has that slightly buzzed look and sound in all her parts...Come to think of it that seems to be his acting style too... It's that "brooding" acting method where many actors think they have to do that to act natural so it looks like you're not acting but too often that give off the opposite affect
Amy always seems to be slightly spaced out. Incredibly cute.
Spaced out - yes; cute - no.
Amy Gardner, perfectly willing to lose the war to win a battle.
He tries to save her every time and she refuses to be saved
Fighting when there isn’t a fight, meanwhile taxpayers loss

Yeah, there are scenes in "Angels in America" where she acts like she's high on Valium, and I sometimes wonder if she's not acting...
Always about winning, never doing was is the proper thing to do.
Just incentives. Doesn't force marriage, just incentivizes it. This is the hill she chooses to die on.
