In the lore of skyward weapons 1.0 we knew that :
Durin thought he was singing and dancing with Mond's people he didn't know he was destroying the land and the abyssal power poison the people
and when Dvalin and Venti came to defeat him he thought they were joining him in the dance until the finishing blow he finally understood he was about to die, he didn't hate them for ending his life, he just wished they could one day dance and sing together

Well he wasnt an evil dragon, he was a Corrupted Dragon, so he wasnt evil in the first place
He was also like Elynas with the whole warped view on reality thing, Durin thought that he was "dancing" in the skies with Dvalin and Venti when in reality they were having an all out fight.
Oof was sweatin bullets you'd miss the event 😅 Because as again MAJOR Loredrop in a LIMITED event 🤪

After playing her first-handed, I really like Emilie now. I love off-field dmg so she's a very convenient char that will do great now and in the future.
The sceneries in this summer map are truly mesmerizing..well like the previous ones, honestly, they're all good
Durin was a being of abyssal power so his mere existence corrupts Teyvat, just like Elynas. I believe their consciousness came from the Abyss, then Gold granted their wish to see the world by giving them their bodies. All but one child (Albedo) met quite a tragic fate. I still wonder to this day, that unless it isn't introduced yet, was the fakebedo the one-horned white horse?

Anyway, I probably would go broke once they released mini Durin plushie or postcards for this event. I know this bc I already ordered the otter plush and got the not-for-sale postcards of last year's XD Can't wait to see the original Durin coming back!
I don't want to talk abt how this event story might tease Natlan's (names, fates, memories) as I don't wanna accidentally spoil myself by speculating. I'll look back after Natlan's out like I did with Irodori festival for Sumeru story for sure.
The fact that Fischl met “Wanderer”way back in the Unreconciled Stars event but she’s doesn’t remember him now😢 Though granted that’s probably for the best since her reaction likely would have been a lot less friendly…

1:14:22 Since Jean is a chronic workaholic, she would actually want to work. She works herself to death by herself, but if Varka did come back he would probably have to order her to take a rest and not work
From what I understand Jean basically worries about stuff a lot so she takes more work and she kinda feels she has a responsibility as leader so she keeps working until she passes out
Will be interesting to see how the dynamic of the Knight of Favonius will change when Varka comes back
I’m new to Genshin, this was my first patch, after Mondstadt and Liyue I found that I wasn’t having fun and almost quit, but I decided to try this story so I could get the free skin in case I ever came back.
However this quest won me over, even though I had no context for anything, the music, environment, characters, and story, it was all amazing.
I loved all of it and I can’t wait for Natlan!

Edit: BTW! This video was shot over multiple days so half of it was before and half of it was after the 5.0 livestream. So I'm going to assume we probably made a comment about Emilie's weapon while trialing her out. It's a really good weapon but the current weapon banner system is such a scam. HOWEVER! It's being reworked in version 5.0 which will hopefully make it a whole lot easier to get signature weapons for your favorite characters without going into debt.
I mean the weapon banner is still a scam, so far Star Rail has a better system since it's not a 50/50 but 75/25... and WuWa has the best since it's guaranteed.

the main cast in the event reflects the main cast in that anime, and it was about a flying train travel around the galaxies like how traveler once did
I got a mention in the video! 😂 Yes, I am enjoying Emilie. Also, it feels kind of ruthless to set enemies on fire and watch them burn as Emilie’s dendro power does so much damage. But it’s effective. 😅 I am using the Jade spear with her because it’s a five star standard banner weapon. I did not have enough wishes to go for her weapon, but another five star weapon can work with her. And Deathmatch is another option. I also have no cons for Emilie, and she works great.
There are tons of memes references in this event, like a lot!
Which made the exploration feels more fun and refreshing ^ ^
I am using Emilie with Favonius Lance (Spear) it is not that big of the deal if you have good artifacts (ideally her set and other member in the team has a deepwood set) and she can be flexible on many teams this way
4:42:08 I only just continued watching and finally got to this part of the video. So I want to say that in the Dragonspine spear (craftable polearm), in the description, it tells the story of the crisis in Mondstadt during the Cataclysm but from Durin's perspective
Basically during the Cataclysm when Rhinedottir's creations were released, Durin went to Mondstadt to play. He thought he was dancing and playing with the lovely dragon and bard until Dvalin slit his throat and he saw the destruction he caused, he said goodbye to them without any hatred and died in peace from what i can tell. I'm summarizing the story but i think that should be enough explanation

All of Rhinedottir's creations or related beings seem to look at reality a bit differently, I kinda like think of it like how Pyro from TF2 looks at the world vs actual reality. For example, the Melusines are mentioned many times that they see the world differently than humans do
That is just so heartbreaking... 😭
The thing with Vaporize and Melt is that Melt not only does 2x damage, but also applying Pyro onto Cryo depleates Cryo twise as fast as Hydro. That's also why it's hard to run Vape teams, where the hydro character is the one Vaping the attack, while Cryo onfield dps use their attacks again Pyro quite often.
Why would a character need to stand alone, though? In a game where you play a team of four. You're never in a situation when you need to use less than two characters, and even those are incredible rare
Yeah, that take was quite dumb, but that's not the first one tho and we can't have good takes all the time.
@@Tovy At the end of the day Daniel just wants characters to be strong by themselves since we’ve seen plenty of gacha games get out of hand making super niche characters.
It’s a fair take that aims to benefit the consumer which I can fully agree with. However, I think it’s also important to realize that Genshin’s combat is designed around the idea that you have a team of 4 characters.

Technically, Durin really is Klee's brother.
Both Albedo and Durin were made by Gold. So Albedo and Durin are brothers. And that makes Klee their adopted sister in turn.

Nahida is WAY above all the otehr Dendro appliers, and Emilie is sadlny not a good aplicator, and about burning... burning is used for burn-melt teams

idk why, the sibling, all the archon and like alices in this quest want us (the traveler) to see the end/story/world of teyvat like they really want the traveler to witness or found something
So, the base duration of her Ult is 2.8 seconds, and the hit comes out 0.7, so you get a hit at 0.7, 1.4, 2.1 and 2,8 that is 4 hits... now her c4 adds 2 seconds to that and reduces the interval by 0.3 so it now hits every 0.4... so 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0, 2.4, .2.8, 3.2, 3.6, 4.0, 4.4 and 4.8... so it now hits 12 times...

Ok, so question. With everything we know about Hexenzirkel, is Klee Alice's biological daughter? Considering Alice's relationship with Rhinedottir. Could Klee be Alice's clone? And she is raising her daughter for some reason? With all the new things we are learning about old characters, I can't help but be curious.
Burning is meta, but not very meta. It's kinda only good if you have Nahida or Emelie

@@TheYeahzus Gonna be honest with you… I remembered that but don’t have her fully built to have burst up all of the time. So that is 100% on me. 🤣
I think you guys are still misunderstanding how numbers on the artifactas, weapons and talnest work... if you have 200% scaling and 250 ATK you'll do 500 damage havong an artifact state that it increases the damage by 50% it won't mean you'll be doing a 1000 damage but 250% of that 250 ATK, which is 625 (20% increase)
I'm saying this cause when you test out the characters and read out all the stuff you get wowed by stuff and invoulntarily spread some misinformation to people who aren't also very savvy with how genshin damage formula works.
Also I think that a characters should stand on their own is one of the worst takes I heard from Danile in all the time I've been watching you :)
