Thanks for featuring our Parkour & Climbing System in the Top 10. We have improved the animations in the new update, and we are working hard on more features and improvements based on user feedback for future updates :)
heh same thing, I love researching and picking all the assets for these videos to see all the interesting things that exist even though I never have time to really dive deep into any of them
Hi Cm! There is also a "The Ultimate Game Development Software Bundle" on Humble currently. These are AAA assets done for either UE or Unity, so you may have to do some converting, depending on the engine you use.
Yup I saw that one, some really good looking realistic assets. Researching how to convert from Unreal into Unity is something I've wanted to look into for quite some time, after I do a tutorial on that I might start to mention those bundles since there is quite a lot of great stuff that is Unreal only, especially hyper realistic assets.
I'm experienced in Blender but learning Unity, and I couldn't help but notice one lecture/tutorial series with an instructor that looks suspiciously like CodeMonkey on one of the Gamedev TV courses I purchased. Looking forward to getting to that part!
The Turn Based Strategy course? I really hope you enjoy that one! It was a great project to work on, that course is really great for intermediate/advanced users
Every time there is an animation pack, on look for only one thing, does it have laying in bed animation, ie waking up, moving in and out, and fslling asleep. Why is that hard, my life sim agent need to sleep 😢 anyone know where i can find those animation?😢
That's an extremely niche scenario so yeah that will be quite hard to find, probably best just to learn the basics of animation and do those super custom animations yourself
What's the bg song? It's a free song that I've heard like 11 years ago when i've only started my journey, I have listened to it on repeat back then. If I remember correctly this author has like an album of similar songs
Hello! I'm creating relatively big project that will be competetive, I started with Netcode for GO and it already is at really late stage of production. At what point I should switch to Netcode for Entities? I need it as it will be server authoritative anyway and client side prediction is a big deal. As soon as possible? Or maybe finish the project and then switch? I don't have set unity services yet but I also plan to. Will the switchting from NFGO to NFE be that hard? Thanks for reply:)
Those are completely different systems so ideally something that really should have been done from the start. I guess now is better than later for converting. But that's a massive undertaking so ask yourself if you really absolutely need to do that? It might be simpler to just implement client side prediction into NGO I haven't used Netcode Entities myself so don't really know how it compares directly or how hard it is to port
Because I simply couldn't possibly answer questions from ten thousand people. I try to answer all questions related to videos, but if I open that up to any question then I will basically spend all my time answering questions and nothing else. So since it's physically impossible for me to answer the questions of 500,000 people I can at least do that as a nice bonus to the handful of people that directly support the channel, for the rest I will continue answering as much as I can related to the 800 videos that I have.
I'm still trying to figure that out myself, so far one excellent use case I have found is using something like ChatGPT for Game Design brainstorming. It was really useful when I had some issues with my game and I asked it to give me various ways I could improve some mechanics.

@@CodeMonkeyUnity I saw an Unreal Exporter in the Unity Asset Store some days ago, perhaps worth a look.

@CodeMonkeyUnity Yes, that's the one! Although I'm building myself up to it. I need to crawl before I can walk after all!

I missed the sale price on the Gore asset because the Asset Store was having issues that day 😢
Really? That's a shame, maybe it will be back in afuture sale, it looks interesting

What happened to the 3d explosions pack?
It seems like the developer removed it
Grabbed the gore simulator while it was on sale, can't wait to try it out in my cyberpunk themed metroidvania with boomer shooter elements 😆
i personally don't understand why you locked some off your new qa to member only 1:00

Please make a new video on the AI navigation system (new one). The old video of yours is now obsolete. Plz!
