    I swear just yesterday I was practicing some CQB and thought ''I wish UFpro would put out there more content related to tactics''. Well.... thanks guys!
    This specific one is something I won't be needing any time soon, but still.

    Breaching that window is going to bring all guns to bear on that spot. I thought about what if dual entry points were made along with several windows being smashed simultaneously to create confusion?

    Option 5: Use a catapult to directly shoot the rookie recruit through the window. Very fast, surprising, breaks glass in process. Causes empathy from the suspect, so he hesitates in firing.

    I have always wondered what if there are hostages inside and enemies just wait for Police to get close and start shooting as soon as they try to climb in? Every bus entry looks too dangerous when there are multiple enemies inside who are ready to shoot back and have hostages between police and them. I have never seen real footage of a situation like this.

      @@lotuspocus76312shock surprise, direct action, fear, quick, prepared, don’t let them see you coming. That’s the tactic for the bus hostage rescue. The KSK I believe were the ones who came up with the idea. It’s a controversial tactic not by the operation unit in general but it’s controversial from the government stand point. But if you have what I mentioned earlier it would work and successful, cause they use a similar tactics for the airline rescue

      @@lotuspocus76312 this would more likely work in case when all of the bus'es windows are covered with something to prevent visual contact. If those aren't covered - of course direct approach is by any means not ideal, so instead snipers should be used, since they're able to directly see the trapped targets

      They have the lead guy covering and I would presume some kind of overwatch. Also I suspect they might wait out after negotiations for as long as possible to fatigue the suspect and reduce their reaction times. But overall, yeah someone's probably going to get shot by the subject, hostage or first guy in.
      So I suspect that this might be for a lower threat like a knife wielding subject maybe? Or they've fatigued the subject and they're sitting down/resting?
      If the threat was higher to hostages/entry team due to subject with a gun, wouldn't it just be wiser to just have a simultaneous two sharpshooter shot on the subject? (I believe that's how the US Army shoots through glass, two shooters on one signal?)

    Non of them without a red herring, the use of a flash bang , parallel sniper action or another element of suprise (depending on the situation). The Moment the Glass bursted to the first aproach is mutch to time intensiv.

    wouldnt want to be sitting in the row that gets breached. i know that there aren't really any better alternatives, but breaching a bus like that full of hostages and gunmen is gonna be very messy. so many ways it can go bad. if the first guy goes down, now your entry point is blocked, and your whole team is fully exposed, sitting right outside ready to be fired upon from inside, and you cant really respond because you might hit the hostages

  • @aryanras

    • @aryanras
      @aryanras 11 місяців тому

      @@JoeDurobot not necessarily but I might be wrong. Depends where you use entry points. I would say 3 approach the bus from the one side at the rear with one of them penetrating the window while the other covers from outside. The one that entered remains at the rear inside the bus providing cover to the main 3 guys entering from the other side also at the rear. That way they wont shoot each other.

      School busses are definitely a different animal. Not only the issue of sliding windows, but they are much smaller. Trying to get an adult speedily through one is not going to happen. Stay dangerous.
