@@flyingbutete7620 sure I'll articulate it. Water is always going to be better than air cooling. That's just physics. But the air cooling gang still copes. There are valid reasons to get air like you're poor or just want a simple to install cooler. But it's not better than water.
If I can I do use air cooling just because of lifespan and no leaks, for high end cpu water cooling atm is the best or most applied. Future cooling solutions are just around the corner.
@@majedahmad1171 I run a peerless assassin 120 se on a 5800X3D. My chip gets hotter than I was used to with a 3700X but stays in the 40s until I game or do some other CPU intensive chore. It hits mid 60s when gaming.
@@circawut I use a 240mm liquid cooler and I get 50-54c when I'm doing light task like browsing and watching videos online It's about 65 when I'm gaming
we are on the era of undervolting cpus specially ryzen to gain stability. unless your cpu is going 120+w theres no need for water cooling

i went air cooled on my 7800x3d for my new build, and havent had a problem with it yet.
