I LOVE this song and so many of you had requested for me to sing it that I HAD to cover 'Payphone' by Maroon 5. I hope you like it! I decided to do a bit of a different video this time, so here's me and a piano, outside, in the middle of a car park :-) Also, listen out for another Maroon 5 song mixed in there too!

I wanted to make this video a bit different and change it up a bit - so because this was all recorded outside, I apologise for some background noise and cars coming and going - but I think it adds to the atmosphere! We recorded 2 takes, using the audio from the close up take. We then edited both takes together to make the video a bit more dynamic. But the audio was recorded live outside. You can even hear the background noise! :)
I really love this cover!!! I really love how the piano is sitting in the middle of a public parking lot, and the cars are passing by, it gives the song even more meaning. You already know I love your voice Alexa!! I really loved this cover.
that was sick. I was getting tired of this song but you made it completely your own that I fell in love with it all over again. adding the other maroon 5 song as a bridge sounded brilliant and the natural environment tied the video together. I loved this!

This might not make sense to some people, but I actually love how the piano needs a little tuning. This makes "acoustic" to a whole another level and makes the song sound vintage. Love it.

Very, very clever way of incorporating another Maroon 5 song into the bridge. This is one of the best versions I've seen thus far. Your voice is sultry and elegant, yet powerful. The guy on piano also accompanied you very well.
