I have a question, I did the same exact thing you did but for some reason when I lowered the car, they pushed up and theres a gap under the top nuts on both sides that hold the shocks on top. When I raise the car again and move the tire up and down the entire shock moves up and down because of the gap. I brought this Yaris 08 they had the gap so I brought the new mounts and bearings but still have the gap,Do you thing someone installed the wrong shocks absorbers?
@@josedanielpg2329 I ended up buying different Strut Mount. The round plate that holds the spring in. My car strut mounts only had the nut in the middle to hold sping. I changed them for the strut mounts that have the 3 bolts facing up and fit in the 3 holes that are on the car. So to remove them in the future, instead of removing the big nut, I remove the 3 smaller nuts.

I have the same question, but in a Yaris 2013.
