HH swores in Mr Kephas Kampamba Katongo and Ms Eva Jhala as Judicial Complaints Commission members

This afternoon we swore in Mr Kephas Kampamba Katongo and Ms Eva Jhala as Judicial Complaints Commission members and Mr Jack Kalala as a member of Anti-Corruption Commission Board.
During the ceremony we repeated to them that justice delayed is justice denied. There is a need for unity of purpose in the judiciary so that we can serve the citizens better.
It is our concern that Correctional Services facilities across the country have been keeping citizens for years and years without them accessing court and it is now our hope that this narrative will change with the enhancement of the judicial operations.
While congratulating them, we appealed to their families to give them support as they carry out public duties. And we are also grateful to parliament for ratifying their nomination to serve the Republic in these roles.
Once more. Congratulations to the newly sworn public officers.
