I know! As soon as I saw the charger cover, I had to pause the video. I stared at the cover and said Wha!? LOL. Thought to myself that’s unnecessary. Saw the cover on and thought ... if it was gifted to me I wouldn’t regift it. I would use it. (Now as I type this msg am now convinced this cover it absolutely necessary. LOL)
I suggest you not to have the keyboard silicone protector when you're using your Macbook because it causes heat issues since Macbook doesn't have air dents for air to come out so they come out of the keyboard's tiny gaps. It's probably ok to have them on your Macbook when it is turned off but I do not recommend you to have it on your keyboard while you are using the laptop.
@@analdelrey249 ooh does that apply to all laptops? cuz i got a huawei matebook d14 and i have a clear hard case only on the top part. i didn't put one on the bottom so air vents won't get covered
macbooks do have air vents lol, they are near the hinge of the monitor and the keyboard, and some macbook pros have air vents on the sides too. the only macbook that doesn't have air vents are the 12' macbook.
I actually read several articles stating that air doesn’t come out from MacBooks keyboard so that wouldn’t cause a problem, but there’s other reasons why you shouldn’t use one. But it’s nothing to do with the laptop overheating

Apple store advised me not to put a screen protector in my macbook because the retina display loses its effect, the keyboard cover and the case blocks the circulation of the laptop causing the battery to drain faster, and if you remove the hard case without being careful, it will scratch the macbook. *Some accessories you bought might do more damage to your macbook than you think.* I only put dust plugs and the shockproof cover on the charger (though this also causes my adaptor to heat up faster). Hope this helps y'all if you plan on buying accessories for your macbook.

I was about to buy screen protector for my macbook air, but then my friend told me it’s not really a good choice to do that since I’ve already use a keyboard cover and adding something else to put in between the keyboard and screen will possibly damage it because it will give the screen and keyboard some pressure when it’s in the close position. But I honestly don’t know whether it’s true or not.
If you have a MacBook with an anti glare coating so like post 2012 era MacBooks then it’s a bad idea as it can damage the coating and it’s not great also the heat can be dispersed through the keyboard on certain MacBooks so a silicone keyboard cover isn’t the best idea either, although this video seems nice most of this stuff is unnecessary and can cause issues in the long run. Best practise is to pit your laptop in a padded sleeve when not in use and take care of it :)

Apple warns against using a camera cover, palm rest cover, or keyboard cover with your Mac notebook as the clearance between the display (screen) and the top case has tight tolerances. Screen protectors are available for MacBooks, but they significantly reduce the quality of the image from the display and can also cause damage due to tight tolerances and they can be restrictive to the airflow of the device. As for hardshell cases, I personally used one for a while but they are a dirt magnet. Grime dust and dirt can easily accumulate on the inside of the case, they can also cause overheating issues due to the fact that it is more difficult for the computer to dissipate heat and one thing I noticed while using my hardshell case is that it made my MacBook "top-heavy" where if the display was passed a certain angle the case would pull it back to an angle that was uncomfortable for viewing. Hope this helps. :)

I find that it does get warm but no more than usual without the silicon cover. :) I do however only charge until 100% and then keep the charger off until my MacBook was dying (at 10-20%)
Does the Macbook Pro has any air vents at the bottom? If not, be aware that if you use your keyboard cover during acual use it could overheat, cause the hot air isn't able to escape through the keyboard anymore. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
Apple Support doesn’t recommend putting any type of case, keyboard cover, webcam cover, or screen/touchbar/trackpad protector on the MacBook as it can ruin the device over time :( They will either collect dirt and grime, inhibit cooling, ruin the hinges, and/or ruin the screen

Apple sells cases themselves, so they probably wouldn’t sell them if cases were that bad. I really don’t recommend using a keyboard cover, though. I was quite satisfied with mine. I changed the setting of the mouse on system preference and did not notice any lagging. Maybe you can try just play around with the setting?

Idk if yall have heard this before this is not protecting on the MacBook besides the case uhhh Screen protectors can damage the screen and if you take it off it can rip your screen off snd the keyboard cover doesn’t help because it’s pushing on the screen and screen protector and then the trackpad protector can tear the coating off your trackpad and make it sticky

So far so good. All hubs work well. It does gets warm if use after some time but not too much that it becomes a concern. Can't really say if compared to other brands since its the only brand I've tried.
For me , I prefer to have the screen protector because I don't trust myself enough. So far I'd notice no changes in the screen .but I'm by no means a professional so I'm not so sure if the screen protector would damage the screen or not. I'd say do a little bit of research first and then decide whether you need the screen protector :)

Perhaps you can confirm with the seller before purchasing? Usually as long as its a USB-C adapter it should work but like I said, reconfirm with seller so even if it doesn't work once its arrived to you , you can ask for refund. :)
**ATTENTION** do not put screen protectors and track pad protecters on your macbook, also please take off your keyboard cover once done with your MacBook. So the screen protector messes with the screen display so does the keyboard cover since it is super close together and the track pad protector also messes with the screen display because Apple makes there thing soooo fragile lol. This is just some advice because I’ve been watching many many many videos about the MacBook because I’m getting one soon. Have a great day! Bye!
the size is the same but the keyboard differs (this new MacBook 2020 has an ESC button and 2019 does not). So if you're planning on buying the cover and keyboard sleeve for MacBook 2019 on MacBook 2020 just note that the keyboard sleeve would not cover the ESC button.

I think it would fit but it'll be a snug fit so I wouldn't recommend getting a 13inch bag for a 14 inch laptop :)
regarding the usb c hub, do u just unplug it right away or do u eject something or what?
I usually just unplug it right away as it is just an extension. But if you have a USB connected , please eject first ☺️

Hi, would you recommend applying a screen protector on 2020 Macbook air? I've heard that it can damage the screen or something like that?
For me , I prefer to have the screen protector because I don't trust myself enough. So far I'd notice no changes in the screen .but I'm by no means a professional so I'm not so sure if the screen protector would damage the screen or not. I'd say do a little bit of research first and then decide whether you need the screen protector :)

Perhaps you can confirm with the seller before purchasing? Usually as long as its a USB-C adapter it should work but like I said, reconfirm with seller so even if it doesn't work once its arrived to you , you can ask for refund. :)

**ATTENTION** do not put screen protectors and track pad protecters on your macbook, also please take off your keyboard cover once done with your MacBook. So the screen protector messes with the screen display so does the keyboard cover since it is super close together and the track pad protector also messes with the screen display because Apple makes there thing soooo fragile lol. This is just some advice because I’ve been watching many many many videos about the MacBook because I’m getting one soon. Have a great day! Bye!

is the macbook pro 2020 13inch the same size as the macbook pro 2019 13 inch?
the size is the same but the keyboard differs (this new MacBook 2020 has an ESC button and 2019 does not). So if you're planning on buying the cover and keyboard sleeve for MacBook 2019 on MacBook 2020 just note that the keyboard sleeve would not cover the ESC button.
