- Mahua Moitra Latest Speech: Criticising the government's infrastructure projects, Moitra said, "You are sanctioning Rs 1.08 lakh crore for Vande Bharat Bullet Train Project. In Balasore last year, three trains collided as there was no 'kavach'; last week, in the train accident there was no 'kavach'. With the current level of funding, it will take 50 years for 'kavach' to be installed on all trains.
'Kavach' is a Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) that provides automated train protection as well as collision prevention capabilities for the trains.

lol quiet a firey speech trying to score political points but in essence trying to divert and distract from Calcutta government complicity in conducting “ blood in the streets of Darjeeling and kalingpong” people who serve in the Indian gorkha army and are facing racial discrimination from the Calcutta government or is it more sinister since these people of the gorkhas guard the nathula pass and the chickens neck ( siliguri corridor ) from communist China and these two parties both the CPIM and trinamool have been trying to destabilise the region probably in the hope of opening a land bridge and get arms from communist China and fuel the naxal movement
And Darjeeling and kalingpong was acquired by treaty by the British from Bhutan and sikkim and only recently Bhutan for all by treaty handed over kalingpong to Delhi government so bengal nor the bengalis have any present nor historic claim on Darjeeling and kalingpong ,
Bengal should be turned into three states for national security and India’s security
