This was the most challenging video I've ever made throughout my four years on this platform. This video is full of animation, the fight choreography scenes are a million times better than what I could achieve way back then. I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, that I am happy that you guys were able to make me who I am today. Without you guys, I wouldn't been in this place, making videos for fun. It may sound cliché, but I have no other words but to thank you all. Enjoy the video, and I will be making more fan videos on the way! (also dont take this video seriously for gods sake, if you dont like the outcome of the fights, then go complain about it in the comments and i wont bother)
I just caught this video, and I've _really_ gotta say as a veteran of the SMG4 Series... this is perhaps one of the *greatest* fan-made SMG4 Episodes that I've ever seen. The idea of simply merging two different era's of the same show would seems pretty hard to pull off on paper at first, but then seeing all of them in motion even as they fought against each other-- that's how you do it right. Utilizing what these characters _can_ do with their own skills, portraying that through what they say & how they fight, and overall just comparing & contrasting who they once were with who they are now-- THAT is what truly earns this fan-made video a top-spot (at least with me). The animation in this video also fully encapsulates what both eras of the show were capable of & what jokes could be made with them without ruining the whole point of the video, too... and that made the whole experience feel genuine. You've done a _mighty_ fine job,
For a brief moment, I thought this would be a "shit on the modern SMG4" which, personally speaking, I'm a fan of modern and old style, they both got their good points and bad. But glad to see this wasn't the case it was a fun video feature the old and new timelines. On that subject, fights were really good. And the woman you got to do Meggy is spot on. Sounds a lot like her. So awesome video there.

Your editing skill is amazing ! You nailed it ! About the plot, i was glad that it wasn't just the old gang beating up the new one 'cause nostalgia. Luigi, Mario and Tari getting along with their past versions instead of fighting was funny and in-character. I think Old smg3 winning makes sense because he is more malicious and wouldn't hold back in the fight. Meg's fight was interesting, the new one is more skilled(since she trained to be a coach and has even more experience) but the old one has the inkling abilities and can use it in a creative way for her adventage. I wasn't expecting Desti to show up and it was a nice surprised. Just wished their dialogue was a bit longer. About Smg4 going up against his old version, i was a bit disappointed. I was hoping for a battle of philosophy. The old one being scary of changing and thinking he lost himself in the future at some point becoming a shallow youtuber, hungry for view and corporate toy while the new one would try to talk rather than fight. He would make a speech indirectly mentioning the "It's got be perfect" arc. Then, they would discuss about how things change and the lessons they can both learn from the present and the past. Again, nice work ! I loved the video and you have great potential

For SMG4, I don't really have an explanation for his powers but I can say that he got a rage boost from SMG3's death, and was able to teleport, and use power orbs which is inspired by Dragon Ball which is my favorite anime which you already saw in the video!

Amazing viddo and I think i actually felt something when Desti came and Meggy just went full depressed, tho I was definitely expecting SMG4 (Modern) to go insane from SMG3 dying and I was excpecting Meggy (current) to win due to her beating Wren and crap but I don't really care about those and still amazing work and hope you can do even better in the future!

I was expecting that during the fight the "Who let the Chomp Out Era" cast (SMG4, Mario, Peach, Taod, Bowser, Luigi and Steve) and the 2011 cast (SMG4, Mario, and Starman) showed up too. But overall, I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED this!

Where Luke was presumably once a free creator back when the channel was first created, he now bends the knee to a master. _That_ level of creative freedom; _that_ which existed prior to the founding of Glitch Productions, _is likely gone forever,_ but in its place we’ve gotten SMG4’s Tari, Sunset Paradise, Meta Runner, Murder Drones, and The Amazing Digital Circus. The first makes a powerful team member especially when Meggy is present (Does that duo have anything going on between them? They’ve been slowly hanging out more and more…), the rest are all amazing! To all of you hardcore pro-Classic era fans who trash talk the sh** out of the current show on Reddit, I think this loss was a fair trade, don’t you all? If you had a time machine, would you really want to throw all that away? To go back to “the way things were”? The modern era also introduced voice acting, arcs, redesigns, characters that have more depth than laughing stocks, and scenes that were downright scary to watch, at the cost of some humour.
