First year im not at home watching the parade with my sisters while my mom starts all the cooking. I miss home. Thank you for streaming this and allowing me to keep at least something.
Same- my first Thanksgiving away from home, too far to travel back, missing watching the parade with my sisters while my mom and dad cook. I take some comfort in missing them (I know I only miss them because we love each other so much) but it's still a heavy feeling.
SO MUCH BETTER than that lame, over hosted crud on NBC with ads. This is the real parade experience! Thank you!
That is so spot on. People want to watch a parade and you cannot do that with the NBC presentation. I am watching this in the evening and am enjoying it.
I agree for the most part, but I enjoy how well edited together it is and how we get to see all the performances. I wish NBC didn't hold that TV version hostage behind Peacock's paid premium and then nuked it 5 hours afterwards. Like God damn it dude people don't want to get up at 8am on a holiday even for such a beloved tradition.

We have to remember to support these stores like Macy's and Barnes and Nobel that actually provide a service in the community in many ways. It's the idea of having another place to congregate besides home and work.

So great that they held the well-edited TV version of the parade hostage behind a second-rate streaming service's paid subscription unless you wanted to get up at 8am on a holiday to watch it, that's my favorite thing.
Camera person keeps zooming in on the celebrities and making it difficult to see the actual floats.

Happy Thanksgiving! The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade always makes me happy. I used to live in New York as a kid. I remember on Thanksgiving 2005, my parents wanted to take me and my sister to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. But my sister just wouldn't wake up so we could catch the subway to get there. So I never have gotten to see the parade in person. I do hope to someday.
Enjoyed the parade and it is good to see it back 100% this year. Now, I am going to do a little lobbying. After the tragedy in WI, I hope that Macy's invites The Dancing Grannies to the parade next year to perform, whether in front of 34th Street or on the route. Who's with me?
Loved the parade-my favorite was the Christmas Tree Choir singing on their various branches!! So fun!!

Happy thanksgiving. This thanksgiving is going to be difficult, I’m struggling financially because I declined the vaccine because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and I was fired from my job of 13 years. I’m a single mother struggling to provide food, and shelter for my two children both of my sons are autistic, so my days may be more challenging than most mothers. We are not celebrating thanksgiving this year because honestly we can’t afford it. Even though i’m going through all these trials and tribulations I still have faith that God will provide! He will make away for me and my children! Amen!
God is highest above all. These doors are closing on you so that better ones may open. I pray for you and your family, my God bless you this holiday season.

Dang that band from Illinois (I think lake something?) was smokin good. They had amazing tone and sounded like professionals compared to the other bands. It must be a lot of fun to be in a marching program like that in high school.
That was my band and it’s the Lincoln way marching band or lwmb you can watch out state run and victory on UA-cam

I really enjoyed watching the Macy’s Parade, this year, the music 🎶, celebrity lineup, marching bands , the floats , and a special visit from Santa Claus 🎅 and Mrs Claus 🤶 , The decorations were beautiful , Manhattan , New York looked so lovely
