I only did this ONCE... I installed a remote drain so i wouldn't need to raise the Metris, or remove the lower engine guard, thanks for this video so I was prepared with all the required parts and pieces!
For neatness you're letting the oil "glug" out. But, it's better to have the oil gush out because the speed of the flow helps remove metal bits and particles.
I cannot recall, but at the time i purchased the filters it must have been the recommended one. It is an exact replacement, so maybe they have just updated something and are using a new number .
Everything I read about spark plug change recommended going to the shop on that one. Extremely tight quarters requiring specialized tools. I let my local Germain shop handle that one.
The oil filter should be removed first (before drain plug) to assure complete drainage because of its location up top.

According to the Mann website the correct filter is HU 711/6 z. How did you determine which is the correct filter?

What's the recommendation mileage for oil changes? Someone told me it's every 15k.
Yeah, it is computer monitored, but considering there is a turbo i like changing it more often. Cheap investment in my opinion. I am doing 7k

Absolutely you can do this at home. I change the oil, oil filter, and also add a bottle of injector cleaner to the fuel tank at the same time.
