My dad told me "no HORSEPLAY AT WORK." HE USED A IRONWORKER JOURNEYMAN WHO TOOK CARE OF ME DURING MY APPRENTICESHIP. ROSS BRYMER. HIS FATHER WAS THE HELLS ANGEL WHO GOT FED UP WITH OSCAR BONAVENA 1 NIGHT AT MUSTANG RANCH (OUTSIDE RENO. HE KILLED OSCAR. MY DAD LOVED ROSS BRYMER. HE CALLED HIM "THUG" STRANGELY ROSS HAD KILLED 3 PEOPLE IN HIS ENTIRE EXISTENCE AT VARIOUS TIMES. 1st time he was 14 & somrone stole his bike. Dad said u never kno whats going on in a mans life so horseplay is not up for discussion & dont do it with thug. Crazy cuz when i relayed this to other locals who knew ross or of him. Cuz dad & me r from Louisiana. Those boys all said there was a guy who regularly horseplay with ross. But one day, it was wrong time i guess ross had bad day.. cuz it got ol boy KO'ed. I think he's jr. Cuz his father was ross brymer senior. Maybe..plus I'm 5'8" im some dumb not plumb dumb. Ross was 6'2" 42 years old I was 21 & he had to be over 215 lbs or so. What impressed me was how in 2007 this was ross could talk on his flip phone while not lookin at the iron he was walking on. I wanted to be like that. But now it's rare I see another ironworker who can get around like myself. Anybody can do it. I'm not special nor do I think ironworkers r different breed. Just people. It's unfortunate that many JIW's r vain & arrogant but thats not me. FTR. ROSS HAD ALREADY DONE TIME FOR THOSE 3 DIFFERENT KILLINGS. AT DIFFERNT INTERVALS
