WhosThatPanda this was like the 20th song in this concert. And the thing went on for over 2 hours in total. Yeah... pretty worn out or something, yet still getting adjusted to touring again.
I know this is from 2 years ago and you probably don’t care anymore but, in lots of their songs they edit them to make them sound better. And it’s also in a big room with background noise and not very good microphones you would have in a recording studio where the real songs were recorded. But yeah, he does sound weird. xD
He usually is good. I just think its a difficult chord to hit on a live performance. I think they should find another way around to executing that chorus on live shows.
@@fruchtfleisch97 what makes u say hes not good at all?! Hes not just good at live performances, hes really good. Vampire weekend has some songs that are sung strictly bizarrely, and it can be quite difficult to sing them live, especially when u're tired after a couple of songs. Some really good live performances that i could suggest u are cape cod kwasa kwasa, white sky, step, hannah hunt, this life. There are plenty more. I really like this one performance of I think u're a Contra he did with an African artist.
@@aunthaumv3711 Like you say, maybe he's tired, but a good performer doesn't let anyone know he's tired or exhausted... Ive seen many performances like Oxford Comma or Step and he was singing bad, he's far from being a good performer imo...
@@fruchtfleisch97 Elvis Presley, Beatles, Guns n Roses, ACDC, RHCP, Eminem they're all great performers, but during live shows u can clearly see when they're tired and out of breath. Its an exhausting thing, happens to the best of them. I guess Freddie mercury is the only one who can execute his songs really well even when hes tired. He knws how to hide it really well(as far as i have seen frm him). But i could be wrong about that though.
Funky performance. That outro........
Those vocals... well...
I mean at least he tried?

Okay I love vampire weekend. I love the vocals, arrangement, writing, everything. But Ezra is really bad at live performance 😂

I love them too but Ezra isn't good at all live...
