Nice to know I'm in the top 1% for something. My heart is on my right hand side, well more centralised than where it would be if it were on the left. I don't expect many people will find that interesting being that I am not different from the other 99% of you in any other way lol
Can you guys sit here and watch the whole video and remember every fact? I've found it fun to test myself and see how much I remember and if it wasn't enough I rewind. I've remembered up to the first 20 minutes so far but watched the whole thing and am still finding parts I missed. The real IQ test 😁
Youre not in "zero gravity" in outer space. Rather, you experience zero G's. Meaning you are not feeling acceleration. Gravity has infinite range, and in the space station you're still affected by gravity and you fall. You don't notice the falling because the space station is also falling with you, and objects fall at the same rate, regardless of their weight. The reason you're able to fall back towards the earth but not hit it is because it has a curved surface and you're moving fast sideways parallel to the ground. So you with the space station are moving out of the way at exactly the speed needed in order to be at a constant distance from the ground. That's how orbits work. If the space station stopped flying across the ground and just stayed above 1 point on the ground, it would plummet down to its destruction.
@darthwader5860 youre welcome. Heres a bonus. Imagine shooting a cannon or throwing a ball. They have a trsjectory. Now imagine being on the moon where theres no gravity to slow a projectile down. Now imagine shooting a ball whose trajectory curve is the same as the shape of the moon. If you make that shot, it will curve around the moon and hit you in the back of the head. But if you duck, it will just circle the moon endlessly. That is an orbit. If you were to have a ball that could fly through objects, you would notice that any trajectory becomes an orbit. Throw a ball, it falls through the earth in that curved path, and that curved path keeps going until it either reaches back where it started and repeat, or it would move in a progressive spiral, which would eventually also get back tonwhere it started and then make the same spiral path all over again. If you just drop it down, it would fall through the earth, and on the other side it would be pulled back down by gravity, and would just fall back and forth in a line, repeatedly tracing that line back and forth over and over
I got curious bc i KNEW i saw that Mt. Everest is NOT the tallest. Heres what google said: The tallest mountain in the world from base to peak is Mauna Kea, a long-dormant volcano in Hawaii, USA. In total, it is approximately 10,205m (33481 feet) in height, taller than Mount Everest's 8,849m (29032 feet). Over half of Mauna Kea is underwater in the Pacific Ocean.
About that "less than 5%"- that number is from a quite outdated statistic, isn't it? I'm not sure - maybe what I heard was about the oceans floor and the 5 % were the same by coincidence? I'm really not sure... Maybe someone can point me to a trustworthy source- that would be great. I have no luck googling it myself. Most results are just about some quizzes and other not so reliable sources.
2 fun facts there are more airplanes in the ocean then there are boat's in the sky . Mike Nesbitt the drummer from the music group the monkees mother invented the product liquid white out in her kitchen and ended selling the rights to this product to 3M for 500000 million dollars
Apparently I never had the enzyme to digest the milk my mother said even as an infant I did not drink it if she gave me a bottle I would take a couple of drinks out of it and then throw it to the side she said if it hadn't been for sweet tea and Kool-Aid I probably would have died
Fact number 102 is that there is a ton of redundancy in this video. There is a lot of redundancy in this video. Did you know there is a lot of redundancy in this video?
I was always surprised that a drone has not been created to explore the depths of the ocean... I know about pressure and even freezing cold 🥶, as well s the pitch black but I think they could create drones to make it. If NASA can serve rockets into space, they can creature drones to explore the oceans..... Be funny that they were looking for intelligent life on other planets just to finally learn there was intelligent life at the bottom of the sea.
@@vanhattfield8292not really. We have the capability to explore some of the ocean, but there’s a reason we’ve only explored 5% and those reasons are exactly what OP said. Zero visibility, extremely cold temperatures, and crushing amounts of pressure.
You mentioned the tongue gaining weight when you gain weight the same thing happens to your ears if you lose weight your ears do too my hearing aid did not fit correctly anymore because I lost weight
Never been a winner but I'm optimistic. Got as far as claim. They want you to apply for a PayPal credit card. NOPE, that means giving out a ton of personal information. I don't need or want either. Lose again. Oh well.
repeating several facts several times really means that there aren't 101 facts here. Also, during the ear explanation, you spelled STURRIP < like this, which is wrong. What you meant is STIRRUP.
Blew my mind but also many many facts being repeated over and over. First 20 min talked about tongue, lips and fingerprints maybe 5 times. Other than the repeats, i loved this video. Imagine having a 30 foot beard. Thats gotta be heavy
