So that you understand at different times, Batman could be played by such actors as: Price Brosnan, Alec Baldwin, Mel Gibson, Ethan Hawke, Kevin Bacon, Ashton Kutcher, Josh Hartnett, Henry Cavill, Cillian Murphy, Heath Ledger, Josh Brolin, Joaquin Phoenix, Army Hammer and Nicholas Hoult. Now the brightest candidates for the role of Batman in the new cinematic universe are Jensen Ackles, Alan Ritchson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Scott Eastwood and Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Some of them are too old to play Batman.
Henry Cavill played Superman..
Joaquin Phoenix plays Joker in the "Joker" movies.
Nicholas Hoult has been cast to play Lex Luthor in James Gunn's cinematic universe.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be too busy playing James Bond to play Batman.
