- Visit www.leftcoastclassics.com to see this 1950 Plymouth Deluxe Fastback for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California.
This pretty old fastback starts; runs and drives well. The original 6-cylinder engine starts easily and runs smooth. The shifting, braking, and suspension all work nicely making it easy and relaxing to drive. Recent services include new brake cylinders and fluids, new starter, new shocks along with any systems that needed attention to make the car reliable and roadworthy.
This very cool and rare 1950 Plymouth Deluxe Fastback for sale is a very original car that looks to have had one repaint and a new interior at some point. This is a well preserved, nicely patina'd old Plymouth with a ton of character.
The body is straight and clean with good paint and original trim and glass. It has a cool, old sun visor installed. The interior is clean and very comfortable, excellent for long cruises. Comes with a clear, current California title and is ready to ship anywhere in the world.

I like that body style. Glad to see it has the original engine.
1950 Plymouth Fastback, winner of the first Southern 500 at Darlington. Thanks for posting.
My first car was a 1950 Plymouth Deluxe but not the fastback. Mine was 118" wheelbase and same grey color. Paid $100 for it when I was 16 years old. The car was already 18 years old when I bought it. I also bought a 1953 Dodge from the local junkyard for $40 that had a blown engine crankcase. I used it for parts because it had the exact same 218 CI flathead 6 cylinder engine and drive train. Eventually I used the transmission, carburetor, and wheels to replace those on the Plymouth. I loved that car. I bought a universal signal blinker kit from Sears for $9.95 and installed that because I got tired of doing hand signals. 😅
Thanks for the video . That old flathead was a great engine.
A beautiful Plymouth! So nice to see!
Bought one in N.J.'78 that was from New Mexico rust free.towed in home over 60miles with my '64 chevelle. That flat head 6 was smooth.Wish I still had it love the fastbacks.
Sweet car I love, easy restoration
Classy ride!
My first car when I became street legal in 1958 was a 1949 Plymouth red convertible with a similar dashboard for which I paid $90. This two door sedan is nice, but the term “fastback” wasn’t used to describe slantback cars until circa 1964-65.
Love that Plymouth but more interested in a 40 Ford!
Original or close !
my dad had one he got it 1952 and kept it till 1959 when he got a 1957 plymouth suburban the guy that bought it dropped a V8 made it into a hotrod
I weak business card magnet doesn’t lie. Your mag is way to strong for that test.
The dual exhaust is not original.
